Hernandez is a great role model for youth team players etc. He is such a grounded family lad and thats what Man Utd is about imo. You won’t see Hernandez calling out for Madrid and you won’t see him making contract demmands either. He is genuinely thankful for everything that happens to him. Really brings a smile to my face when I see him score and he reminds me that football as we knew it is far from dead (in terms of egotistical man whores).

The thing that is impressing me with Chicharito, and the Da Silvas, and Smalling, and Berbatov, and indeed nearly all of our recent signings, is the skills. Our team is just so fucking good at football it is ridiculous. And I mean that in the purest sense, the lads have incredible control, incredible skills, and it is permeating throughout the team and it is present in every position. It’s not the arty farty stuff like the tippy tappy passing or the pointless step overs, it’s the control, the ability to weight a pass or curl a shot or direct a header.
I tell you what folks, this team has been at times a little disappointing this season, but let’s not talk about potential, let’s talk about what we know, these lads are Really Really Fucking Good. They are good now, they are not ‘Potential’ as Arsene likes to call it. Top of the league and in two different cups, all on merit, all despite injuries.
The belief is coming, the strength is coming, the hunger is there. We have a truly great Manchester United side on our hands here. If they stay focussed and stay sharp they will bring us glory. All we need is 100% from every player, 100% from every supporter at the game. It’s a big ask, but if we have that, I think we can take everything.
Love all three of them to bits. Though someone needs to tell Fabio it’s United, not “Manchester”.

I entirely agee with everything you say about our Chicharito. He has that amazing smile when he scores and many are comparing him to ‘The Baby Faced Assasin’. He has had a fantastic season and he won me 20 quid when I bet my friend that he would score at least 10 in his first campaign! I do hope that he won’t start ‘calling out for Madrid’ and asking for new contracts but my only worry is that what can you do when there are certain members of the squad (not mentioning any names Rooney) who have done just that?
Let’s hope that his family orientated upbringing will keep his feet on the ground and help him to become one of the OT greats.

Chicarito is amazing – I went to the Bolton game and had no idea why he was taken off at half time (maybe a knock or something). His movement off the ball is so impressive.
He’s young, first season with United coming from Mexico – amazing bargain and can only get better.
He’s like RVN with pace and a passion for the game which is not very common any more.

A lot of ppl keep asking why Scott can’t just delete these “First!” posts. That won’t work. Not all comments which are first are “First!” comments, if you get my drift, and not all “First!” comments appear first either (the one in this thread appeared second). What is Scott supposed to do, sit there and monitor it personally? In theory someone could program a script to remove them automatically, but in practice, it would be way too easy to trick it by adding other text. Scripts can be “clever”, but they are not intelligent in the human sense. I work with this technology, it’s my job. Sooner or later it’s going to miss something that it should remove (“Hey, I’m 1st”), or remove something it should leave (“Wow, our first goal was great”), and then ppl will just bitch again.
A more effective strategy would be to post a standing note at the top, asking ppl to refrain, but in the end, best to just ignore it.
Now, back to the football…
The censorship or removal of comments that only state ‘First’ while other comments like
‘Sir Alex is a #@$%’ are left to stand is moronic.
