De Gea: Barca? I Want To Stay In Manchester

The press in this country are very confused about David de Gea. One minute they are highlighting every mistake as though he is one of the worst keepers in the league and the next they are claiming he is about to join Barcelona or Real Madrid.

Following stories linking him with a return to Spain, De Gea has claimed he would like to return one day, but wants to stay in Manchester for a long time and win a lot of trophies first.

“I know things have been said and written but I have a contract,” De Gea said. “I’m very well in Manchester. It is not just my name that appears. At Barca, Valdes is still the keeper and Madrid is my city, one day I’d like to return.”

Where did he say he wanted to win a lot of trophies? Anyone with a complete interview?

David is a great keeper and doing us proud. But sadly I feel we are just fatting up the turkey for the home coming party, in the long run.

I think afte 5-6 year, this lad is destined to go to Barca, and the situation will boil when he goes to play for Spain regularly, cause he will be in contact with Barca players and they wil l”seduce” him.

I will enjoy these forthcoming years, cause he is destined to go there.

If he truly loves our team, then he will stay for 10 years more, but I doubt it, that’s why I will enjoy this moment, after all, 5 years more are a lot :)

I wish those fucking Spanish bastards would fuck off. Been tapping De Gea up for weeks one way or another.

You obviously did not read the article. He said Madrid was his city hence he played for Atletico for a while. If he moved to Spain, it would be Real Madrid

  7. Swedish Red says:

Since De Gea is an Atletico boy why would he even consider playing for Real Madrid?
