De Gea: I Feel At Home At United

David de Gea, who has been one of the best keepers in the league this season, has claimed that he has settled down well to life at Manchester United.

“I’m very settled and feel like part of the furniture around the club,” said De Gea. “I feel very much at home in the Premier League and, of course, with my team-mates here at the club. I’m enjoying life here and I feel I’ve settled well. The biggest thing for me is that I’ve managed to work through some difficult times and those moments always make you stronger. It makes you a stronger person and a better player. I think I’ve improved right across the board, in all aspects of my game. I’m still only young and I feel as though I’m learning every day. I’ve hopefully got a long career ahead of me, so I want to soak up as much knowledge as I can while I’m young.”

just needs to beef up, be braver and learn to command his box properly, which im sure will come. has all the ingredients to be as good as any before him. his reflexes are as good if not better than VDS and the great danes!

All the young lads coming through the team seem to have a great attitude, you hear the rumors about him being unhappy and wanting to go back to Spain but i’ve never heard him say one negative word. The lad has a good head on his shoulders took all the criticism and has made him stronger

I love this kid. Really want to see an interview with him. What a top young prospect he is and he needs to keep starting games. That way he will be the best keeper in Europe. Casillas said he will pension them all off. Fair play to Dave for all the shit he has put up with from the abu media.

wayne – Hello mate. Spot on. Like the rumour on Sunday that Hernandez wants to leave. Yeah course he does. Watched Sunday Supp last 3 weeks. They have talked about City, Arsenal, Golden Boy Jack, the dippers but have NEVER once mentioned United. Jealous cunts.

Don’t ever believe the rubbish reports that say he is unhappy. Have you seen his reaction from the bench when United were playing QPR (I think it was them)? He was cheering so hard after every goal, and he was benched. That to me shows true team spirit from the young lad and wanting the best for the club.

Totally normal guy…simple, doing his job….

One constant qualm from some United fans is, he makes one grave mistake per match. But they fail to notice how he makes up for it with three or four top notch saves. He is still shaky when it comes to corners and crosses but come on, the lad is showing he’s willing to shake it off. It’s quite evident in his recent performances. The future is bright indeed! :)
