Devastating News For Keane

Will Keane is likely to miss most of next season after tearing his cruciate ligament.

Keane has been playing with England in preparation for the U-19 European Championships. He scored twice for them last week in qualifying against Slovenia. He was subbed off with an hour played against Switzerland this week in which the 1-0 win secured their qualification.

Keane probably had a pre-season tour to look forward to this summer after a great season with the Reserves.

Instead of trying to break in to the first team next season, with a loan move or playing the odd League Cup game and whatever else may have come his way, he will spend the season recuperating before hopefully getting some games for the Reserves before next summer. Blackburn had been reportedly interested in taking him on loan.

Gee – Cheers pal. Could be one to lookout for, then? I don’t have Mutv anymore, so I rely on the good people of RoM to keep me updated lol.

Get Well Soon Will. You have a bright future at Man Utd.

  3. zelh says:

Tyler Blackett is a left-back. Good pace, always going forward and dominant at the back.
And he has a vicious shot in his left leg.
    good freekick-tacker. R. Carlos like.

Gee- Mats Daehli, Adnan Januzai or do you mean Sam Byrne?

  5. emyoueffsee says:

So with Owen and Berbatov gone and now Will Keane fucked for the forseeable future we are now looking pretty bare up front with only 3 strikers to choose from.It looks like Fergie will have to strongly consider buying a striker this summer and I would like to see Llorente from Bilbao arrive. It won’t happen though we’ll prob nab this youngster from Crewe along with Kagawa and thats it.

  6. zelh says:

Don’t think we need another striker if we put Rooney up front again.

  7. WillieRedNut says:

Sammy Davis Junior? He was a dirty rat!

  8. emyoueffsee says:

Cover?Rooney gets injured?Oh no lets throw all our eggs in one basket then.In 1999 we had Yorke,Cole,Sheringham and Solskjaer. We now have Rooney,Wellbeck,Chicarito.Only Rooney would be of the level of the 4 we had in 99.Result:99 treble 2012: 0

Here is video of the injury. Just went down after controling the ball. Can blame the defender.
Like I said yesterday. Looked bad and now the lad is out for most of the season. Hate internationals!, but prefer the youngsters get them if I am honest.

Think what we would be saying if we lost a senior player like this.
Bad luck, but hope Will bounces back. Looks a real talent for the future.

  11. Random Hero UK says:

It looked bad when watching it and it is truly bad news. I have made it down to Moss Lane a few times this year and every time he has impressed me the most. I hope when he recovers he still will have a good chance to progress with us
