Abou Diaby scored Manchester United’s winning goal on Saturday, when jumping up under no pressure to head the ball in to the back of his own net.
“I have to forget it,” said Diaby. “I made a silly mistake and it’s difficult to explain what happened. The goalkeeper called out to me to leave the ball, but it’s all my fault. Even when I look back at the images I ask myself what happened, and I tell myself that it’s just not possible.”
Blame Derren Brown, I say! He apparently predicted a 2-1 win for United ahead of the game. Can that be the only explanation behind us winning on Saturday…? 😉
