So it seems like both Woodward and Moyes might need a refresher course on ‘transfer clauses’ (see Fellani & Herrera).

I still trust them to pull a rabbit out of the hat….

If not gawd help them on the backlash they will receive from fans, on this board, and the press who are praying for their failure.

  2. TraffordLord says:

If you thought this has been the strangest transfer window for us…then you haven’t seen anything yet. BBC is reporting-

“Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United’s collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.

“Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits – supposedly the United “representatives” – coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.

“All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days.”

  3. TraffordLord says:

We are now being told via reports in the media that United wanted to do a deal on Herrera’s buyout clause saying it was too much (£36M) in their own estimation. So lets see what they are willing to fork out on Fellani especially after they deliberately let his £23M clause expire as part as the strategy to get some leverage on Everton.

  4. TraffordLord says:

Well it has finally come to past. WINDOW SHUT…lets see what Woodward has been busy doing.

Complete and utter, Total shambles….Embarrassed to be associated with the club right now…. first time I’ve said that in 45 years of support.
