Half time of the Spain vs Russia game last night and I heard the familiar voice of Eric Cantona.
I looked up to see Cantona in full armour, chest puffed out as we’ve seen many times before, speaking in his thick French accent.
“Sons of England,” he said. “Elimination is painful and the wound has yet to heal. Despite our many losses your King shall never kneel, nor accept to see his brothers fallen by the score. We may have lost the battle… but we have not lost the war.”
