Wayne Rooney wins Best Goal in EPL first 20 seasons!

“Newcastle is a very difficult place and they are playing well,” Sir Alex told reporters.
“They have got two games left. If they win their two games they win the league,” he said.”People talk about goal difference, but it depends how many they win by. Say they win 3-0 on Sunday, their lead would be 11 and they still have QPR at home.”That would be impossible.”

@Fletch I agree it is polemic.

Not sure if this thread is alive or not – Denton – agree. I have not said that we have lost the title, we are still alive and can win it.

What I am saying is that we are in rebuilding mode and to be in the race is a great job by SAF. Unlike other teams that end up mid-table, SAF keeps us in the running every year. It’s even more impressive given the players SAF has and needs to replace, all world class. I can’t see anyone doing it like he has.

As for City and other teams with endless money, I think SAF has adressed this, when he said ” we need to bring more boys up from our youth” because he cannot get into bidding – like with Nasri.

So, it will be a bumpy ride, we will see new names, some (or all) unknown – but our boys want to play for us and no one else. Thats a good start!

I hope to see Demba Ba, and Ben Arfa goals against City tomorrow and score board to read 2-0, plus 2 goals from Rooney and 1 from Young sink Swansea
