Smoke break Steve – City want VIDIC and ROONEY. They are waiting for SAF to retire next year, because they know for sure they will NEVER get any United players while SAF is in charge. They only got Tevez because he wasn’t on contract. They are desperate to get these two players, and will OFFER them the earth, anything they want to move over to the blue side of Manchester. This is why SAF has told the United hierarchy to negotiate Vidic contract and improve it, even though he only recently got an improved one. Same with Rooney.

Might be looking too deeply into things but am a bit worried that the fat rich kids across the city are still looking to buy at least one more player.What better way of getting under Fergies skin than to put in a bid for Evans before the transfer window closes. They need cover at CB and they might offer to double his money to sit on their bench.Don’t know how loyal any kid would be to his chosen club these days but the lure of the cash might unsettle him and cause friction ala Lescott.Probably talking out of my arse but does anyone feel the same?

Watching the arsenal game, clive tidsley says any of the top 8 seeds cud get madrid, juventus or inter milan, wats the odds we get madrid. ps that belgium defender looks good for the gooners, reminds me of vidic.

aig – Evening. Of course we can beat Arsenal. They have beat nobody of any note yet like you say and should find United a whole different prospect. Everton were carrying a defender who wanted out and Portsmouth were just awful. You can rest assured the likes of Fletch and Scholes/Carrick/Ando won’t let their midfield slice them wide open like Pompey and Everton. Getting sick and fucking tired of commentators and the media drooling over Arsenals “perfect football”. Its bollocks. WE play better football. Then they bang on about the “great youth”. Who exactly? Aside from Ramsey and Wilshire who were hardly both brought through Arsenal’s academy. If they are that great how come they have been trophyless for nearly 5 years? Cannot wait for Saturday.
