He was awarded with a Knighthood in Norway before agreeing the position of the manager of Molde, the team he joined United from.

Alan Smith
Joined Newcastle four months later for £6m and continued in the midfield role he had begun playing at United. He broke his ankle in his second season and hardly played, before going down a division in his third season.
