Patrice Evra has revealed that last summer he thought about leaving Manchester United for Real Madrid or Inter Milan.
The defender blames the situation on his family, which possibly refers to any issue which arose from being caught on CCTV kissing a “mystery blonde” in a hotel near his family home at 2am last March.
“I had thought about leaving last summer for family reasons but something changed my mind late on,” said Evra. “There were clubs interested like Real Madrid and Inter Milan. But the manager visited me at my home to persuade me to stay. I know my heart has made the right decision. When Sir Alex talks, it’s a good idea to listen!”

Patrice you tit. Don’t use your family as excuse for wanting to move to the virus, be honest every player that moves there gets 3 whores and 2 celestial virgins to use at will in their contract. If someone offers £15-£20 million for him I’d take it, we have Fabio and Rafael and both won’t be willing to play a handful of games every season for too long. Am glad he stayed this season and I do think he’ll play better next year.

But I’m not going to question Sir Alex with regards to Wayne and Patrice, if he thinks them signing new big contracts is the best thing for the club then sobeit.
Also, I think if Patrice has another start to the season like this one (God forbid), I don’t think Sir will have any qualms about chucking Fabio, O’Shea or even Jonny Evans into that left-back position.

Absolutely with you there mate. Letting Evra go at the beginning of the season was completely off the cards. But we are no longer at the beginning of the season and things have changed. Now its time to celebrate our LOYAL players. Fabio IS ready and with cover in the form of Evans and O’shea should it be needed there is no reason to hold onto a player with his mind elsewhere. Don’t get me wrong Evra has been unbelievable for us but its like an old wife.
