Patrice Evra, Park Ji-Sung and Carlos Tevez were inseparable at United which made it difficult for Evra to hear the Argie booed constantly throughout our victory on Sunday.

“Carlos Tevez is a blue, he hates Munichs!” the City fans chanted after Tevez saw a shot come back off the woodwork.

At half time, Tevez and Evra walked off the pitch today and as they approached the tunnel, Carlos applauded the fans in the Stretford End, who returned his gesture with a load of abuse.

After jokingly claiming that he would boo with the fans before the game, Evra admits it wasn’t nice to hear one of his mates booed like that.

“It was a little bit difficult, because Carlitos is a good friend,” Evra said. “I called him before the game and said: ‘I don’t care, when you arrive at Old Trafford we are not friends on the pitch.’ But off the pitch, he is one of my best friends from my time playing at United. This is why I was with him at half-time. It was hard when the fans booed him. I understand that he played here and then he joined City, but he is still one of my best friends.”
