Rio got the hair follicle test done independently. This PROVED he had taken no drugs in the entire SIX MONTHS previous. Therefor he was totally vindicated. Mutu was found guilty! Rio was proved innocent! Yet Mutu got a shorter ban!! Totally fucking ridiculous. If that doesn't show that the FA has one rule for United and another for the rest, then I don't know what does! I like the fact that you bring on and play a lot of british players, I've always enjoyed the way you play, and I accept that you have a special place in world football. However, if, as many of your contributors here seem to suggest, you are so very "special" - more important that the FA Cup, the FA itself, the Premier League, UEFA and FIFA - surely the burden that goes along with that is to behave better, not worse, than everybody else? Whether or not the grievances so well detailed above are in fact genuine (and I'm not about to go into comparisons "Joey Fartwell of Preston North End only received a 3 match ban for shoving the flag up the linesman's arse in 1961") I don't know. But I do know that in the grand scheme of things they won't matter at all. The seige mentality so brilliantly devised by SAF is all very well but if carried on to it's natural conclusion you'll end up playing against - er.. yourself because you've fallen out with everyone else. I'm not having a pop - but as a supporter of a far smaller club the idea that Utd are hard done to is stretching it a bit!
