Fergie Admires Love In Far East For United

Dimitar Berbatov is enjoying his first pre-season as a Manchester United player and described the reaction towards the squad as being like that towards The Beatles. Sir Alex Ferguson says it’s not just the new players who are taken aback by the reaction but the more experienced and even himself.

“But its not just them,”
Fergie admitted. “It’s the older players too… and me. I’m still amazed sometimes when we arrive at hotels and there are thousands of fans hanging about. Then they’re in the corridors and in the lifts. You have to admire that love of the club. We experienced it here in Seoul two years ago and it’s just as good this time. In fact, it’s typical of the whole Far East – we have a terrific fan base and there’s a great fanaticism here.”

GHTT – I like the vid. I love it towards the end of the season or on pre season when SAF get’s all philosophical and reflective.

BTW I just thought of a chant if/when the massive citeh! get relegated or start having a poor run of results.

To the tune of walking in a winter wonderland

    Abu Dhabi are you watchin’

The team should definitely come to India. The club has made some forays at the academic level and now even the commercial element – 5 (at least) ManUtd Cafes opening by the end of this year in the metropolises. I seriously hope SAF and the players stop by in the coming years. There will be legions of hardcore nutters everywhere.
