buy buy buy…we dont need to be extravagant. Perhaps someone to fill in at the back and thats it. 3 points off the top and we are only getting better. We are not Madrid or Chva$ki who just splash out thinking it will improve every little glitch. If the team isn’t performing, its the team that needs work, and adding to the squad doesn’t always improve things, in fact it can ruin balance.

Its a few weeks befor the transfer window opens and we need to buy if we are to win the league, champions league and every other trophy lying around. anyone who doubts that is drunk off their own naivety!!! this season we no longer have that X factor teams are no longer afraid of us. The commitment, the passion and the hard work is there. dont get me wrong, am not saying, we have quality players we do but they dont seem to come to the party all the time. I would love to see Owen get a decent run of games but that is impossible because he has to be managed well if he is to last the whole season. Rooney is trying a bit too hard, it no longer just flows the way it used to before he turned 21. Back then he did not think he just played but he is still our top player the defence has no problem it is in attack. Berbatov is more of a playmaker like rooney is. if you watch past videos of him at spurs u will understand. the game used to flow through him and at united there are too many players to create.
Bottom line we need a lethal weapon we can depend on, the next questio is who? the criteria is simple, it has to be someone with experience (as we already have an abundance of young talent), creative and can change games (somthing in the vein of david silva, arshavin,joe cole,modric). someone who is proven!!!sergio aguero is not an option, i watch la liga and he is progressing but not consistent, the last option for me would be david silva, he has a great footballing brain, passes well, can finish, handles aggressive tactics well and has experience at the highest level champions league, world cup etc. thats what it will take, if you have other suggestions they are more than welcome but fact is we need an x factor and we need to buy

*I forgot to add that we got knocked out in the semis in 07, won it in 08, lost the final in 09. That’s the pattern I see.
