You do have a point Scott. But he did deserve to go. Yes, he did not touch the ref, but it was aggressive and who knows it could have hit the ref. Can't he control his anger?

we needed this, all the champions of the world, europe and england and best team there has ever been has gone to their heads...now, whilst everyone talks about us as potential bottlers, the players might get some real incentive back to prove them all wrong...at least there is a challenge now, premiership was looking like the world's most pathetic competition until this weekend, so it's good for the game in general, and building all the scousers hopes up to knock them back down again and equal their record will be all the better

Mums, many people here don't agree with Scotts assessment of the yellow card. Furthermore I think many would agree we have spend more but also smarter as the big amount came for players who have or did fit in and play a role. While Benitiz has over spent on players who are not Premier league championship quality. In recent years that has gotten better but nearly every major trophy he won has come from Houlliers men, Fergie build this team by himself and bought Ronaldo for pennies compared to his actually value. When Benitiz actually wins something on his own merits I'll be impressed but so far Fergie is the most successful manager in the EPL, not bad for a retarded who cant count!

How anybody could claim that Roony's throwing of the ball was not agressive is completley beyond me. He deserved to go. The only fans in the world who feel his sending off was harsh is you lot - EVERYBODY else can see very clearly it was definate yellow card. Why make a tit of yourself Mr Fergurson?

In addition - your rant about Rafa's transfer spending is a myth. THE FACTS are very different. Including players out on loan (but not the full Tevez fee due to be added this summer) United's squad costs over £215m, compared with Liverpool's £134m.

So not only is your manager an ungracious bad looser, a hypocrite, biased - but hes also a total retard who cant count.

"Liverpool have done us a favour..." Pull the other one you miserable Scotish bellend, its got 19 League Championships and 5 European Cups on it

Looks like its Fergie who's cracking up.

Sometimes i think about how far this team has gone.3 years ago,two loses in a row wouldn't have mattered as much. It's nice to be this spoiled. It should mean that the players would lick their wounds and get back to winning ways. The will need some help from the bench as well. From now on,we need a more settled first 11.As far as Rooney goes,i am fed up with him for one reason. He always finds a way for us to miss him everytime he is in fantastic form. This year,Rooney has played his best football for United, yet something always comes up.And we ae stuck with Ronaldo(9 months ago i wouldn't have believed that i said that) who wishes he had the passion for the team that Rooney has in his little finger.

So we lost a game..two..back to back admitted..but so what..this is football and nothing too out of the ordinary.. We've had a glorious season so far and a blip (and at the moment it is just that). If anything this should shake up the team (as it should have after the liverpool game) for the rest of the season..we were winning all the games and way too ahead in the league without particularly playing that well.. Its absurd but to an extent understandable..but thats not whats bothering here.. I see this blog full of people berating rooney for aggression, petulance, disrespect......whats truely disgraceful is people taking the high moral ground this time. Rooney was forever synonymous with passion and his aggression was always his enthusiasm for the game..and we loved him for that..he wore his heart of his sleave..ran from pillar to post attacked defended tackled mistackled ..he is the the way he is and we've always adored him for that..so why the righteousness this time. More discomforting was the teams inability to come up with a performance after the horror show against liverpool, more worrying was their lack of urgency even after going a goal and a man down and yet the only one (as was the case against liverpool) who seemed bothered enough to do something gets the flak..even from his own supporters..the game was anyway lost but phil fucking dowd has almost ruined the next game as well and if Rooney (of all the people) was expected to take the card smiling you might as well call for perpetually banning him..

I hate to say this as a United fan but we have FUCKING BLOWN this league wide open now. WE ARE FUCKIN USELESS at the moment and it is not even in just a certain position, its everywhere! Deep down the real cause of this debacle AINT refs; to whom I do not give a damn about, it’s the Team. Our players do not have a Scooby now and this international break will get them out of the shirt for a bit coz we are just looking like anything but champions now. We have been playing shockingly since the FA Cup against Fulham and on reflection have been lucky not to lose all our last three games since. With yesterdays result, we have just handed Liverpool the momentum and incentive in the title race; coz now, even with our game in hand we look shaky, uncomfortable and completely unconvincing. Add to this the pressure of now needing to win the rest of our games this season, as well as missing players thru suspensions and injuries. It does not make good reading for us. We MUST SORT OUR HOUSE OUT and get our players hunger for more going, coz at the moment they are giving this title away and allowing the three chasing (I say three coz Arsenal have a chance as they are still to play all the teams above them again) to believe that they can catch us!
Fuck refs, the FA and everyone else for that matter!
United have to remember who we are and what we are fighting for!
