I am afraid the Tosic saga will be carried onto the summer.SAF has said that there will be no new signings.Let’s hope no other team snatches him by then.I am also anxious to see Fabio but with the second half of the season and with every game beeing a must win one i can’t see him debuting soon.If we get a good result against Derby in the first leg,then he could debut in the home leg.He must play in the Reserves first.
According to the Daily Telegraph the Tosic deal has fallen through due to a disagreement over the wage demands…Arsenal are ready to snatch him…If thats true then its a sucker punch once again after what has already happened with the Ramsey deal…

Costas, after the Chelski game, we have a run of 8 or 9 games where we could expect to see Fabio eased into first team League action.
I still think the first leg against Derby is too early. By the time the second leg rolls around on the the 20th, there’ll have been 2 other Reserve matches. Given that the second of those is on the 19th, it’s not likely he’ll even play in the second leg, unless he plays half the Reserves’ match on one night and another half of the CC match the following night. There’s another Reserves’ match on the 22nd and then West Brom away on the 27th, by which time he ought to be in the swing of things.
BTW, for all the hype about Brasilians being laid back and what not, there are many parts of Brasil which are devoutly Catholic, so perhaps the whole abstinence before marriage thing came into play and the lad simply couldn’t wait to get his rocks off (so had to get married!).

wow,one is married.i wonder who.anyways,i hope fabio starts playing 1st team games real soon.oshea has been woeful (no surprise there).he offers nothing in attack.i dont think he will play any part in the southampton game since he just came back from injury.better we play him in the carling cup tie with derby.that would be a treat,both rafael and fabio bombing down the flanks.the future is bright…the future is RED.
I don’t know if O’Shea is woeful but he has fallen from grace since the 03-04 season.Does anybody know why that is?Not enough games?Hasn’t learned to play in one position and therefore isn’t particulary good wherever he plays?Anyway,i have always liked him because he is one of the most positive players we have and a true Red.
