I think everything that happens on the pitch should be retroactively ‘in play’ after the game finishes. Every dive, every foul tackle, every bit of time wasting should be scrutinised, and if found to be bad enough should lead to appropriate measures. There’s too much at stake in football, shit just in monetary terms let alone the passion of the game, to run it like a pub league on the biggest stage.

in this day and age with all the cameras and slo mo replays refs mistakes become glaring.i know alot of people are opposed to refs looking at replays but football is big buisness and one call could cost a team millions.look at hull on saturday they got bent over good with bad decisions if they get relegated by 3 ponts how many millions would that cost.a manager should be allowed 2 appeals per half i think most fans would rather have the right decision being made than their team getting fucked over,because refs made bad calls every game

I think it’s just normal human error.. Let’s not get too carried away. But i’m glad Fergie talked about it though.

What goes around comes around. Maybe we’ll get a soft penalty when we really need it in the future :p

It’s ridiculous that if Fletcher HAD dived and won a penalty by cheating then they would be able to review that after the game – but they can’t do the opposite. Football rules are really stupid at times.

the UEFA rules are rubbish.why cant you appeal after the semis if you are wrongly booked.dont the fools realise that the final will be the biggest game for any player. and Champions League is supposed to be the most prestigious competition in Europe.Also refs are getting more and more biased against the english sides.What happened with chelsea was daylight robbery.how can such fucking refs even be given the chance to officiate in Europe.and i am sure that cunt platini is behind all this.ABSOLUTE CRAP!!!
