It was lost due to simultaneously injuries to Giggs, Keane and Schmeichel. I reckon the first XI's of 1993/94 and 1998/99 were just as good as the 2008/09 first XI (if there even exist a first XI this season?!), but nowadays our squad is absolutely unbelievable. It has to be the greatest squad in the history of the game, and only Sir Alex can keep everyone happy. I really remember the loss of the league in 1998 with rue. Giggsy looks better than ever and Scholesy was back to his best last night. Thing is injuries have kept all our squad fit and hungry! Dare say it long may it continue and we do not get too lax pickin the same squad, then again Fergie knows what he's doin.
