Fergie: We Have A Small Advantage

Manchester United are three points clear at the top of the league but Sir Alex Ferguson is very mindful that our advantage can be taken away at any time.

“We all know that football can turn around and bite you,” he said. “That’s why we make the point about experience. We have a small advantage, not a great advantage, and one that can change in a single game. The important thing is that most of our players have had experience of winning the title – Ferdinand, Evra, Giggs, Scholes, Carrick and Rooney. If they hadn’t, we might be in trouble but they are well accustomed to it.”

Yep, agreed. We shouldn’t get ahead of ourselves, but experience counts. I’m hoping Sessegnon and Bender turn over City at the Emptihad and give us a 6 point cushion. I’d be well happy with that.

Man City have won 11 of their 15 Premier League meetings with Sunderland, but have only won one of the last four clashes. C’mon Sunderland, time to make that 1 in 5.

I’m optimistic. No matter what, this season has been a success to me, even if we’re out of 4 Cups. And yes, I’ve had my intelligence checked. No, not by Doctor K.

HI mate, the bitters are bound to drop points at home at some stage but to be honest from now till the end of the season I am only looking at our results, its in our hands

  5. denton davey says:

    • Blackburn scored three goals from only three shots on target when they beat United 3-2 at Old Trafford on New Year’s Eve

    • United have lost just one of their past eight visits to Ewood Park in all competitions

    • Blackburn have scored more league goals (43) than any other team outside the top six but only Wolves (65) have conceded more times than Rovers (62)

    • Dimitar Berbatov has scored more Premier League goals against Blackburn (nine) than against any other side, including eight in his last five games against them [but will he get off the bench ?]

    • Paul Robinson has saved 55% of the shots on target he has faced this season – the worst ratio in the division

    THIS IS A “BANANA-SKIN” ??????????????

  6. berbatunday says:

mind games? what mind games, good one gaffer, let’s tick the games off one after the other. After all, we hold our destiny in our hands — GGMU

    Evening reds..

I think we will get 3 points but it will be hard fought for

    A. its a cup game for rovers.
    B. Its one of our worst away venue, winning just 2 outta last 11.
    C. I have a feeling this 8 PM kick off has not worked for us this season.
    D. Nani’s absence and Rooney dropping back

Enough!! at this stage of the season, all that matters for me is 3 points at any cost.

Aston Villa’s captain Stiliyan Petrov has been diagnosed with acute Leukaemia. GET WELL SOON PETROV.

  8. MichaelPapoui says:

Experience counts… We play in red they play in blue we’ve nineteen tiltles the’ve got two. Bring on twenty!

  9. CedarsDevil says:

Just heard about Petrov, get well soon

  10. Esteban says:

Sandeep – agree re the 8pm kick-off issue. More a gut feeling as I haven’t gone back to check in detail, but that covers the entire, disappointing european campaign plus other less than stellar performances like fulham home. On the other hand, the early starts seem like they have gone relatively better (such as pool home and city away in fa cup).

  11. Ironbrand says:

Hello RoM. Don’t know if you guys have seen this but mehn…I’m dying of laughter here……

City wants to buy Cristiano Ronaldo for £80million and pay him half a million a week. Come on they should just buy the EPL trophy from the FA.

  12. iced earth says:

“Because of the money everyone has been expecting us to succeed. That will be very tough now.”But I have lost everything else this season — the African Cup of Nations, Champions League, the Europa League, FA Cup and Carling Cup.”I don’t want to lose the Premier League, too, so I will fight until the finish.”And Toure believes his team-mates will also rise to the challenge. The Ivory Coast star added: “Players like Sergio Aguero, David Silva and Mario Balotelli have come here with me to City for one thing.”Not for money — but to win games and win trophies.
toure are kidding himself every player come to shity is for money
and for sure you will lose epl , jamais 2 sans 3

  13. fergie is the boss says:

blackburn is going to be a really awkward game, and especially a tough one. If we beat rovers the momentum united could have, it maybe the most crucial game of the season

  14. Sandeep1878 says:

    FITB..

    right on the money pal,

it is the most crucial game under the circumstances..

with the games we have next and city have, This visit to Rovers will prove effective..

3 points and a giant leap towards 20..

  15. Sandeep1878 says:

    Esteben,

Lets hope we start the game with high tempo mate..an early goal would cushion us and give the confidence..

    Ironbrand..

    Hello pal,

I m curious with this Chelsea and City linking to Ronaldo…you never know in football…plus where will be Jose next season is also key in where will be Ronaldo next season…

I m sure City will not stop spending..its not their in DNA…

on the other hand, this time i m sure that we will sign a midfielder…Sir Alex would want to bring someone with the European experience i feel…and that would be no harm…

and i hope Scholesy will extend his contract for one more year so that Tom c , Tunni and Pogba learn from him…being the mentor is one thing and playing with the mentor is all together a different thing..

and this is the best opportunity for our youngsters to learn from the best British midfielder of the past 2 decades…

  16. kanchelskis says:

    @fergie is the boss

After the ridiculous run of form we’ve had (W9 D1 in the last 10), everyone will be looking to Blackburn as a potential bananaskin, especially after they did us at OT.

You’re right – if we come out with 3 points we will cement that impression of relentlessness and ruthlessness, and City may just start to run out of hope.

Let’s hope there’s no fucking about on Monday. Strong squad (no reason not to with no cups), quick start, tight defence, and energy. That should do the trick.

  17. parryheid says:

Aguero out seem’s City are starting to succumb to injuries now.Unlucky

  18. Sandeep1878 says:

    icedearth,

thats good news for Muamba, his family, bolton, fans and football all together!!

  19. kanchelskis says:

    @parryheid

Yeh poor them. Maybe if their 5 or 6 most important players were sidelined til the end of the season, it might get close to balancing out what we had to put up with.

  20. King Eric says:

The fucking audacity of Barcelona to put in an official complaint to UEFA of the playing surface at the San Siro. Who do these cunts think they are? Oh how fucking dare someone prevent you playing your tika taka shit you arrogant bastards. Try the Prem on a winters night. Cunts.

  21. King Eric says:

Talking of arrogance I now see Mancini is tapping up Modric. Cunt.

  22. Mikekelly12 says:

Best Wishes to Petrov! We beat Blackburn away I think we claim the title. We follow that with QPR, Wigan, Villa and Everton before the city game. If Arsenal can do the bitter fuckers at home we could be 6 clear before the derby. This could would mean a win at wastelands would hand us the trophy!!
Off topic : Giggs12 has got me a Blackburn ticket!!!! Get the fuck a doodle doo in!!!

  23. Giles Oakley says:

Very sad about Stilyan Petrov, so we should all send warmest best wishes for a good recovery. It’ll be a very frightening time for him and his family.

Regarding Balckburn, it’ll be very tough, as we know from the OT match, where Rooney’s shock exclusion for disciplinary reasons certainly didn’t help. It would be a horrible irony if the points lost on that occasion come back to haunt United if City win the title, perhaps aided by goals from that other disciplinary case, Tevez. Fergie’s mind-games on that issue would then look very mis-judged.

I must say I rather wish Fergie would stop stressing how much experience United have, which could actually backfire if players start to think the experience itself will win the vital points, without the 100% concentration and relentless commitment that we really need, regardless of age. I thought some of the players against Fulham lost focus in precisely that manner, as though they assumed some sort of inevitability or entitlement about winning the points. Players seemed to be subconsciously thinking ‘United always win at this stage of the season’ and ‘we have so much experience, we’re gonna do it again’. As the play got increasingly listless and sloppy, allowing Fulham back into the game in the last 15 minutes I looked in vain for one of the much-vaunted ‘experienced’ players to take the match by the scruff of the neck and boss the match. Not one of them did…Giggs got worse and worse, Carrick almost gave away a penalty, Scholes didn’t take control as expected, Evra became quite reckless, and his marshalling of the defence as we were forced deeper and deeper became increasingly erratic. Rooney was very uneven, neither playing as an out-and-out striker or as a classic ‘No 10′, dropping back, with the result that United lost shape going forward. Yet Rooney, though still young, is still one of the most experienced winners in the team, with 4 titles under his belt. In some ways it was the less experienced players who showed more drive, especially Evans, Young and Valencia, none of whom waited for someone else to take charge but all took personal responsibility. Smalling was the same when he came on, injecting a bit of urgency.

The other reason I wish Fergie would stop talking about all United’s experience, along with some of the older players such as Rio, is the danger of passing on the very secrets that make having experience in the side a theoretical advantage. They keep on saying how the unexpected happens, and points get dropped in the most unlikely places (certainly true, viz City’s recent results) but the important thing is how you move quickly on, not letting the players dwell on it. That almost invites City not to be knocked out of their stride by their dropped points, while also somehow saying to United players, ‘ it’s inevitable you’ll drop points’, which could become almost an alibi to fail, as though it’s just an unavoidable fact of life.

Best now for United to say very little and just get on with winning matches. That’s the best way of making experience pay, not blabbing on and on about it.

  24. Sandeep1878 says:

Hello King Eric and Mike…how’s tricks pals?

KE – Barca cunts will keep crying..I hope for a change the decisions will go against them at Nou Camp in European games and hope Milan go through..

I think if any one then Bayern can beat them this season..final being at home a big advantage for the germans..

    Sir Giles,

Pleasure to see you posting here again sir..

    Superb post as usual…

  25. Sandeep1878 says:

    Sir Giles,

Regarding on Giggsy and Scholesy not controlling the game according to their standards..

I think lack of time on the pitch is what has done Giggsy..or may be a one off game..

but scholesy did control the game but there were some nervous moments against Fulham…

sometimes i think, when we are 1 nil up, rather than trying to defend so nervously in the last 20 minutes, its better to put one more in the net..

but its easier for me to say of course…

  26. FletchTHEMAN says:

First and formost best wishes to Fabrice (heart attack) and Petrov (cancer) mentioned above. We take the piss on our rivals. But we should all wish them speedy recoveries and returns to their families.

We should all stand and clap them off the field of play as they are the noble opposition to me. The foil to our heros and heros to their own supporters. Sport would be nothing without the humanity behind it. Otherwise, you can’t call it sport.

  27. King Eric says:

Sandeep – Hello mate. Hows things? I fancy Bayern this year for it on home soil.

Giles – Hello mate. Hope you are well. Fergie today said he was seething with our sloppiness at the end saying they spend ages at training doing possession.

  28. Zibbie says:

    Petrov be well mate.

  29. WillieRedNut says:

It’s a small lead, but a good one to have at this stage. I expect United and city to win this weekend. Blackburn will be a tricky game though. We’ll win it 2 1. Next week is the real tough test for city. Away at Arsenal. If we can win our next 2 games, that could possibly open up a 6 point gap going into the Easter period. Lovely thought, eh?

  30. Denton Davey says:

The NEXT match is always the most important.

The reason why UTD win is because SAF is the best manager AND he has imbued his players with an indominatable team spirit, tested and hardened over the years. The first title is the most difficult and that’s why Giggs12, Scholes10 (and so on) gives TheLads an edge on the EPL competition.

  31. Zibbie says:

KE I saw the Bayern game. They look solid. I love that Muller kid. Can Milan make some magic on the road. Real has no free pass to the finals. The Bavarian’s look strong.

  32. WillieRedNut says:

Yeah, best wishes to Petrov. Shit few weeks where footballers are concerned.

  33. FletchTHEMAN says:

I share the concern about labeling the senior players the key to our season but I also see Fergies point. If you look back to some of the key goals we have conceded to drop points, several have been down to lapses from our senior players. Defensive mistakes from Rio and Evra and midfield lapses from Scholes, Giggs. Not putting any blame on any of them because it is all part of a long season, but they must be recognized.

I actually think that Fergie is saying this to calm the youngsters and steel the supporters. We all must know that it will be a battle. Especially if we drop points to Rovers.

You need a steely eye at this stage in the season. I can actually see Micky Owen and Berbatov getting unexpected minutes because both will hold their nerve when everything else is in play. One could hope that city will drop a few and we will get back to 5-0 wins. But United always seem to make it nervy, so fasten your seat belts and lets be havin it. Noone is expecting this to be handed to us on a plate. As Fergie points out, 4 of the teams we play are fighting for their Premiership lives.

  34. Zibbie says:

    19

After some golf the lads will be refocused and it will be a hard fought derby, 3 points won in a way that makes you think positive vibes.

SAF has an odd job now. He has made a squad some 25 deep to compete on 3 fronts this time of year. Almost all healthy for a run in of only 8 games. So some golf, play some young lads in reserve games. A caged Rooney playing only every 7/8 days!!!!

  35. Costas says:

    @denton

Nice cheap shot at Berbatov there with your stats. To be expected of course.

Anyway, that kind of thinking got us in trouble in the first place, so lets treat it as a banana skin. The last 3 times we played there during a title run in, we drew all 3 games. Such a result will be unacceptable this time. Also, with 7 wins out of our last 19 visits at Ewood, I’d say it’s not our favorite ground to visit…

  36. redevil_83 says:

we’re going to pummel the rovers. revenge written all over it. just wait and watch. i know 3 pts, and prevailing circumstance dictate we approach the game with caution and just look to win it no matter how but i think we red devils will see a great performance from manchester united against blackburn

  37. redevil_83 says:

ffs another monday game :( can’t keep cutting office work aaaaargh

  38. WillieRedNut says:

It’s a potential banana skin, but not in terms of losing at Ewood. More draws, than anything else. I take the opposite view from others. We’re due a win there. That’s how I’ll approach it. The lads will do the same. And lets have it right? We did clinch the title at Blackburn last season. Nice memories!

  39. Costas says:

A draw would be a bad result, even oif came from behind.

To be fair, we would have won there last year. If we didn’t decide to play keep ball after Rooney equalized. They were on the ropes.

  40. WillieRedNut says:

Costas – No excuses anyway. We should be fresh, with no midweek games to worry about.

  41. Zibbie says:

Monday seems a long way off, as a fan of any team all we want is you play hard and smart for the full 90+.
When Man Utd does that good things happen 90% of the time!!

  42. Zibbie says:

No one else going to post about the trip to St Andrews? I see the Twins in the wind whacking away! Laughs having fun. Football and winning is fun , see Evans face after his assist and Rooney’s goal that got the 3 points!!! They run together with these smiles only winning can breed.

  43. wayne says:

Not a huge fan of looking at past trends there can always be circumstances, fixture pile up,injuries, shitty pitch, weather etc each game has to be analysed in present circumstances. This is the first time in god knows how long[Costas] Utd have only the prem to focus on with a fit fresh team, even the boxing day debacle Utd had alot of injuries,3 players suspended,Carrick was centre half ffs and arguably DDG’s worst game, different goalie now.
Don’t see Blackburn being as big of a problem as some think, also think City won’t have a easy game against Sunderland becoming a hard team to beat.

  44. Costas says:

Rovers are also one of Scholes’ favorite sides to play against. Lets hope he starts and scores his 11th against them. :)

  45. Zibbie says:

Willie so spot the fuck ON! No excuses, I was taught at a young age. Give no excuses and you do not have to except excuses from others, mistakes are made by all. learn from them, try not to repeat them and move on.Like SAF when he drops points he makes. No excuses, he reviews the reasons attends to them and moves on. So he never has to except excuses from his players.

The song Looser, he’s a Looser. Says it all. Looser’s. Looser’s give excuses for their own failure. Winners look for reasons to succeed.

  46. WillieRedNut says:

Might be wrong here, but I think Blackburn was one of Cantona’s last games at United? He scored too!

  47. Zibbie says:

Wayne, nice looking past trends! I see it to 30 top class players and only one game a week. SAF must summon all his knowledge and he will, hehehehehe

  48. Costas says:

    @wayne

Hi mate. If you are referring at this stage of any season, I believe it’s the first time since 2006 that our last 10 games of the campaign will only be league games. 05-06 was also a dodgy season in terms of injuries, but the last stretch of games saw us play a settled side and win most of them. That’s what must happen here.

Wouldn’t expect much from Sunderland though. They were in a midweek game, O’Shea is missing and City will probably be too strong for them at the Etihad.

  49. Costas says:

    @willie

Yeah. One of his last games and his very last goal for us. He missed a pen too. He was getting rusty!

  50. Zibbie says:

Willie I saw Eric the King in an interview, his aura is huge. What a presence. I have heard the class of 92 say how much they learned from him in the way he practiced so hard. Worked his ass off. My coaches told me when I was 5, you play like you practice. Man Utd trains hard!!!! And wear teams down, score late and win titles!!!

  51. wayne says:

Costas hi mate i know City should win but under o’neil Sunderland seem to battle alot harder just haven’t been impressed with the way City have been playing last month or so,seem labored,Sunderland could nick a point.

  52. Zibbie says:

    No JOS! SHIT!!!

  53. Zibbie says:

Hello wayne hope your business is fine and the road has been good to you. Missing all the deer!!

So how you see Rooney’s year so far?

  54. FletchTHEMAN says:

Costas, agreed mate. Need to convincingly go for 2 goal lead and then push on. At least we have been seeing 5-0s of late so know the lads have it in em.

Agree with Giles, that 3 points lost to Rovers at OT while Fergie was repramanding Rooney for a bit of partying is looking big now. Hope the lads make it right and don’t look back. 3-0 to the reds please. Put em to the sword so the Prem don’t need to witness another year of the chicken boys.

  55. Zibbie says:

I can see what Sir Giles said earlier. When Wazza is neither a #10 or a main striker, when he drifts and people do not interchange with him properly or he does not rotate himself properly the MF looks out of sorts. Outside that I see 18 goals in the last 18 games not bad. 3 points up. Most goals in 50 years. Ahead of last years points. all good.

  56. Zibbie says:

Fletch all of RoM Rooney I guess showed up almost still drunk, stupid fucking move. SAF punished him and we all move on. Rooney got spanked, made to watch the loss from the stands( a BOX) lost $ and was way, way wrong. Since Black Oct that has been his biggest mistake. The team responded to SAF firm fist and were 3 point up!!!

  57. Zibbie says:

I’m some what curious why at least here let alone British press Rooney has what 21 PL goals 28 in total and on a rampant run as late the team in first place? He gets few props!

  58. wayne says:

Hi Zibbie mate had to close the Edmonton business but my Calgary store business has jumped 25% since Blockbuster closed and my rural town business is going well,so all in all can’t complain
Since Rooney was suspended for the Blackburn game has become a different character has played really well in 2012 and not getting into the newspapers for the wrong reasons,no complaints mate

  59. Zibbie says:

Here is Man Utd MF, No Petrucci but he has been coming on well, a brace last game.

    NUM POS NAME
    16 M Michael Carrick
    23 M Tom Cleverley
    52 M Larnell Cole
    24 M Darren Fletcher
    11 M Ryan Giggs
    43 M Matthew James
    53 M Jesse Lingard
    17 M Nani
    8 M Anderson
    13 M Park Ji-Sung
    42 M Paul Pogba
    22 M Paul Scholes
    25 M Antonio Valencia
    18 M Ashley Young

If Fletch can be 95% of his old self and Pogba stays as well Scholes signs for another year if any thing in the MF is added I think is a winger.

  60. Zibbie says:

OH and Tunni on loan as well!!!!!!!!!!!!! To a PL team after training with Man Utd first team all summer long!

  61. WillieRedNut says:

Zibbie – The king had real aura mate. Talking about atmosphere at OT, or lack of it. His first game back from suspension was one of the best atmospheres ever. Electric! Celebrating on the pole when he put the penalty away.

  62. Zibbie says:

Good to here, that business is in flux. And I know you shoot straight with no bullshit, thanks for your thoughts on Rooney. That does my heart well. In a 1year or 3 maybe he will earn some more!!!! Respect that is!

  63. Zibbie says:

Cool Willie! I here the new additions changed the acoustics, the higher ticket prices lead to prawn eaters sending Stewart’s to shut up drunken loud fans. Like me! hehe

  64. Sparkz says:

Does anyone remember the 1-1 draw against Blackburn late in the 07/08 season? Tevez with a late equaliser, Rio going mental in front of the fans. Can’t remember if that was at Old Trafford or Ewood Park though.

I definitely see it as a banana skin, heads need to be screwed on properly. We are much better away from home this season than we were last year though.

I’d disagree with some of the comments with regards to our experienced players letting us down. Evra – definitely, a lot of goals conceded have been down to him. Giggsy you could also argue has had some mares this season. But other than that, I’d say its been the younger players and their naivety/inexperience that has cost us at times – namely De gea, Jones, Rafael to an extent.

Definitely need the old heads like Rio, Carrick, Scholes at this stage of the season IMO.

  65. samuel - united WE stand says:

For all the gaitan, eriksen e.t.c rumours that have surfaced this season, why do i have a feeling fergie is about to pull yet another suprise by raiding portugal again and buying porto’s james rodriguez. He fits into the club’s philosophy of buying young talent and rodriguez is certainly a talent.

Left footer, classy and composed, creative and imaginative, glides past players with pace and is a threat as a goal scorer. Not the finished article yet but under fergie, he would transform into a top player for sure and could solve tthe left wing problem and with his ability to switch wings, he would add unpredictability. Apparently fergie sent out scouts to watch him and i think a signing of the colombian who is a relatively unknown would continue the trend and can’t be ruled out.

  66. CedarsDevil says:

Hello everyone on this site!!!!!!! I think we will win on Monday and Rooney will score… Anyone agree or disagree???????

Willie in my life I have been fortunate to meet many powerful men and women, some through my dad and his political connections. And others through business and friends in the movie business. The 2 biggest auras I have run across were Bill Clinton, and Jack Nicholson. SAF and King Eric look to have that as well.

  69. James21 says:

  76. wayne says:

Zibbie still alot of people prefer dvds to online and the Novelty of Netflix has worn off when people realize it’s a ltd selection and old movies[i've heard the US netfilx is much better in Canada not very good just cheap a $8.00 per month].Thing is Netflix got into streaming before the studios realized the value now the contracts are coming up for renewal Netflix is having a harder time securing rights, think Disney and Sony dropped them recently and Hbo and Fox already,Netflix are hitting harder times which is obviously good for DVD stores

  77. CedarsDevil says:

Getting all nervous here, you know a bit like Samuel ahead of Monday…….Just hope that Monkey and The Burberry Man do the job in the Earl’s absence

  78. Zibbie says:

  85. wayne says:

Zibbie that’s the thing mate still something personel about a Dvd store, part of date night for couples, etc b/r have taken a while to catch on still only around 15 to 20% of my business and the updates are a pain in the ass because most customers don’t even realize it has to be done so return the b/r saying it doesn’t work

  86. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Evening all I think its fair to say Monday will be a nail biter as city will spank Sunderland at home.

It’s a massive game and one we must win wellbeck 7 in 23 and as good as he has been we need goals, I’d play the pea.

  87. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

On another note the k stand future can now sing his first united song

    United united united

  88. Zibbie says:

    Road Trip!!
I love that is a big part of the PL. In Dubuque I root for The Uni of Iowa in the Big Ten Conference. Dubuque Iowa is 80 miles from Iowa City and Madison home of The Uni of Wisconsin, I go there dresses in Black and Gold in a sea of Red and White, it is awesome, we tailgate get loaded but fall short of a 1000 years of tribal bloodshed. SAF always comments when he has played his summer tours here. It is great to see the fans of different teams sitting side by side. In SA teams have sections high fences and police to separate them.

  89. Zibbie says:

Giggs12 one of my RoM heroes is here!!

  90. CedarsDevil says:

    http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11679/7636753/Aguero-blow-for-City

I reckon the Kunt picked up Gonorrhoea, his dicks peeling skin, warty and pus is spewing all over David Silva as he is still suffering from poor form. Or it could be the butt plug has accidently ripped the Kunt a new arsehole. Either that or some other kind of S.T.I

    8) Blackburn is a must win….like all the others 30 games we played this year ;)

  93. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Zibbie stardust I have seen Wisconsin play in Madison I coached football in appelton WI for a while. Great town Madison…..good times

  101. WillieRedNut says:

    Then raise United’s banner high
Beneath it’s shade we’ll live and die
So keep the faith and never fear
We’ll keep the Red Flag flying here.

We’ll never die, we’ll never die
We’ll never die, we’ll never die

  137. parryheid says:

Don’t suppose any of you have a Silver Shadow mascot knocking about your looking to get rid of at a competitive rate?.

  138. denton davey says:

Costas @ 15:59: “Nice cheap shot at Berbatov there with your stats.”

Hardly a “cheap shot”; merely a statement of fact. By the way, those “stats” aren’t mine – they’re from the Guardian Online.

  139. denton davey says:

Zibbie @ 17:04: “If Fletch can be 95% of his old self”

Dream on. DarrenFletcherinho’s medical condition is serious for a normal human being – speaking as a “fellow sufferer”, I’d be astounded if he can come back to anything like his former self.

Colitis (or Crohn’s Disease or “irritable bowel syndrome”) is disastrous for a top-level professional athlete and even more-so for someone (like him) who depends on energy, drive and determination.

  140. denton davey says:

Samuel @ 17:13: “why do i have a feeling fergie is about to pull yet another suprise by raiding portugal again and buying porto’s james rodriguez.”

Telepathy ? or maybe Carlos Quieroz’s special phone number ??

  141. King Eric says:

James. Alright pal. Wish the full verses of We’ll never die got sung. As for I see the Stretford Arising , one of my favourites. Proper dark.

  142. Zibbie says:

DD I had some wishful thinking, responding to some saying the Dr. found some good meds. You have seen my posts, I did not know you suffered IBS but I have dealt with medical under righting and know how sever it is. And the sad part is if he is doing fine for a while stress triggers symptoms as well. Playing for Man Utd and playing at 70% of his old self like last year. I get it.

  143. Yesred says:

Morning Reds around the world, I reckon the chicken shaggers will be beaten Monday.

  144. LoneStarRed says:

@ Yesred Chicken shaggers?/ It that how chicken tenders are made ?

  145. Storming Norman says:

    King Eric
Couldn’t agree more about the never die song. It is a shame such a great song is not sung in full as it captures all that makes united such a special club.

  146. And Solskjaer has won it says:

City are cracking up massively. Would love to finish the job at middle east lands but i reckon.job done by then. Rooney been the bollocks this season, 4 off Georgie and Dennis Violet to be #4 highest goal scorer for united and alot less games than best and apparently he’s underachieving. Can’t wait for paddy to lift #20- any one know Suarez’s address-might send him a postcard

  147. Costas says:

    @denton

Well whoever came up with them, did intend to take a cheap shot at Berbatov. When you come up with 4-5 facts about how bad a team has performed and then you mention that said player has scored against them more goals than against any other team, that’s the only way I can see it.

  148. Storming Norman says:

Fuck me , when I said I couldn’t agree more I did three times in fact. Bloody shit slow phone!
