Stretford End Flags have urged people to get to Old Trafford early tonight in a bid to help the atmosphere get going.
The atmosphere at the Champions League semi-final last season was absolutely brilliant and Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping for more of the same tonight.
“Last year’s atmosphere was one of the great moments of my time here,” said Ferguson. “The atmosphere was fantastic that night against Barcelona. It was an amazing transformation when we scored that first goal against Tottenham on Saturday. We needed that support from the fans and they’re going to have to play their part again. They’re going to have to drive us. We’ve been through a hard, hard season and it’s coming up to that part of the season where we need everyone.”

Damn right.Last year the fans played as big a part as Scholes’ goal did.
I was there.
Exactly what I’ve been saying for weeks! You can add Fergie’s plea to those of Rooney and Carrick and Rio and Giggs in recent weeks all saying similar things. All of you lucky ones going tonight (and to the Riverside on Saturday….) have such a vital role to play, especially if things don’t go immediately to plan. C’mon everybody, it’s Wall of Sound time!!
Giles Oakley: was curious to know if you are a season ticket holder ?
as giles says it’s Wall of Sound time!!

I hope we can put that feeling out again. Atmosphere is key and once the night turns on, I hope the Arsenal fans leave with their hairs on end.
Sadly I’m not a season ticket holder and unfortunately, I’m closer to the proverbial ‘bath chair on Torquay beach’. I’ll be watching on TV with friends but all my psychic energy will be directed towards Old Trafford: Believe!
In 4 hours time i’m there.
