Darren Fletcher claimed after our 3-1 win over Manchester City that the lads were always confident of getting to the final, even when Carlos Tevez scored to mean extra time was looming.
“Everyone was up for it,” said Fletch. “Even after Carlos scored we were not that worried. We dominated the second half after a tight first half and Wayne popped up with an unbelievable winner. He has been doing that all season. We had been expecting the game to go to extra-time but overall I think we deserved the victory.”

Fucking fantastic Fletch. We are lucky to be watching our new Keano unravel infront of our eyes. Just gets better and better. Best atmos at OT last night since Barca. It was absolutely banging. It was interesting to hear Fletch talk about the “gameplan” . They intended to not go gung ho then second half they were told to kick on hence the second half battering. Nothing is impossible at this club. Magical.

I think he’s very ordinary when he’s on the ball. Great off the ball – work-rate, closing down efforts etc. He’s an average passer, not a great striker of the ball, and little penetrative action in terms of self creation or killer passes. Scores way too little. Compare him to all the big European midfielders past and present and he’s still rather light weight by comparison.
Still fair play to him – he’s playing well. Keep it up.
