I used to dislike Fletcher for years, always doubting his talen and abillity. I ahve wondered for years why doesn’t Fergie sell him, but this year the guy has proven all of us wrong.
He trained hard, and he actually got better, so much better that he holds his own in the team now and the fans stopped ridiculing him.

Still waiting for Hargreaves to be back though…

Fletcher represent the “never say die” attitude that has endeared him to Manchester United fans. He may not be the best player on the team, but he has developed into a solid, solid player. In fact, most of the Scottish squad play like it is their last game. GO FLETCH !!! Not the best on our squad, but a player that motivates.

fletcher world class? jeez now i’ve heard it all. if someone is world class they would walk into any team in world football. fletcher isnt even first choice at united. in reality, he is our 5th choice central midfielder. i would argue the world class players we have are rooney, tevez, berbatov, scholes, ronaldo, ferdinand and evra.

I appreciate Fletcher as much as the next person, but how can anyone think he’s world class??? He’s got a very long way to go before that tag.

Fletcherinho has a long way to go before we can consider him to be “world class” BUT, like AJ posted, he’s the kind of journeyman squad player that is absolutely crucial for a trophy-winning team.

Sorry guys, but Fletch IS world class! Granted there is room for improvement but remember he was playing first team football for Utd at the age when, compared to Beckham, was out on loan at Preston!(20yrs old). Anyway, SAF is a better judge than any of us and he obviously believes in him! About time we got a chant going for him, he wears our shirt with real pride.

Well it sort of sums them up really!!
Only joking Fletch has played well for us this season and well done to him, top lad, not a top player but a really decent squad player, and I am glad he has signed a new contract, because a squad wins you trophies.
