Ahead of his first game against his boyhood club since leaving for West Brom, Darren Fletcher has spoken about what is on his mind. He admits that of course he wants United to win, but on the day, will be more focussed on helping his new team get a good result.

I am just conscious of making sure I walk out on the right side, go in the right dressing room and things like that, so I’ll have to be really focused and concentrated, but I’m going back with a job to do for my new team and that will be the focus when I’m there. Beforehand obviously there will be handshakes and different things like that, but for the 90 minutes I’m the opposition and as much as United want to win, I want to win as well. That’s football. That’s the winner inside you and I don’t think anybody would expect anything else really.
