When we're facing tough games, I like it when I see Fletcher on the team sheet. He might get some passes astray, but overall, he provides a certain something on the pitch. Good on you, Fletch, now we want to see you score when the dippers comes to OT!

When you are in the Red's team, you are already above average, even though you are just a team player. You can see that clearly in Scotland's case, where Fletcher is one of the best players, if not the best.

I also once hoped he will go elsewhere, and didnt understand why Fergie really hang on with him.. I really hated him then. But now everything's clear.. In Fergie we trust.

But now i feel pity for him, for not being able to play more. Now i really hope Fletcherinho can play more, because he embodies our youth progress.

And i agree 100% with EastStandManc; there are no hang-overs in our squad. Everybody loves being here, and they are trying hard to do more everytime. That's why the team is the champions of every possible trophy.

"haha" - you said exactly what i was going to say. ever since fletcher came into the team all those years ago i dont think i ever saw him complete a pass to his own teammate until this year. everytime he was in the lineup i groaned because i knew what was going to happen - millions of mistakes by him. thought the only reason he never got sold off was because of SAF and the Scottish connection they have... however, this season im kinda impressed. and i too think if i could train with the best team in history for the last many years i could maybe make the team. (who am i kidding - id prolly be just good enough to be the guy who ties the boots of the reserve team). C'mon you red devils!

I have always liked Fletch, mostly coz he is an academy player and he has the right attitude, confidence without too much ego. That is the reason, I think, why Fletch has stayed and become a class player, while Richardson left, he had the wrong attitude. It also seems to be why Evans has been great while we sold Pique.

I've always rather liked Fletch, especially his performances for Scotland a year or so back . I think he rises to big match occasions well, and for Scotland he got forward more, which is maybe why he's determined to do that more for United now. I remember how strongly Scholes praised him after United beat Arsenal in the FA Cup semi against Arsenal in 2004. Scholesy said how much he enjoyed playing with him because of his 'legs' and constant movement. As it happens both players have suffered a lot of injuries since then, which has certainly hampered Fletch, who's needed a decent run of games to get in the groove. He's always best in the centre , rather than right, but he works hard for the team wherever he is. He's more or less cut out the bad habit he used to have of getting caught in possession in front of the back-four, which he used to do by turning back with the ball. Now he pushes forward to gain the space he needs, not backwards, which gives the team much more counter-attack momentum. That's one reason he's doing better and Fergie trusts him more.

Its the squad that he chooses on the day with regards to CL winners medals... the starting 11 and the subs, apart from that the whole squad get a medal, well a mocked up one is made by the club to show that everyone is part of the achievment.

Going back to the midfield situation... i really think Michael Carrick, is in the form of his life at the moment... his vision is exceptional, and he is a very intelligent footballer, and i think he is gonna be a real golden nugget for us by the end of the season.

Talking about StevieGBH... the muppet has tore his hamstring and is gonna be out for 3-4 weeks.. (Prob been practicising bending down in the shower when he tore it, after all its gonna be his hobby in prison aint it).

little bit off topic here but, how do you qualify for a CL medal when your team wins the competition? Does only the team named (incld the subs) during the final get it? I always thought that anyone who played a certain amount of games would get one.
