  2. keanesmagichat says:

absolutley brilliant scott, you dont miss a trick! where are the gooner fans? what about piers morgan? CUNT

  3. Dutton1990 says:

Absolutely brilliant and shamelessly stolen :D

  4. arsene wenger says:

lmao ,you bunch of fuckers, i didnt even pick my flag up so that one didnt even see 7 minutes

  5. keanesmagichat says:

fair dose for coming on wenger…men against girls again huh? theo willnever be a top player, whats a gooner perspective?

  6. Spirit of 99 says:

As Evra said, men against boys. Girls more like it. Haha…

  7. Funited says:

i despetly need to go to loo. any deal quickly???? :D

  8. Spirit of 99 says:

By the way I did predict 3-1 win in the predictions thread. :D

  9. arsene wenger says:

my perspective is man utd played well, ronaldo looks unstoppable,i said yesterday that van the great hope would be invisible and theo would bottle the big occasion,im not happy were out but takin a bruisin that bad rather than it bein a close loss could convince them tight fucks to spend some cash, givin out flags as a last ditch at buyin an atmosphere after havin heavy handed stewards forcin people into seats all season is bollocks,i sit behind the goal and fletchers tackle was one of the best tackles iv seen at the emirates

  10. Danish Gooner says:

at least our manager is not an alcoholic.

  11. Big Goon says:

Well that was embarrassing. I wont make any excuses, we were thoroughly spanked tonight. Hats off to ur lads, they totally outclassed us. ManU were the better team and they got a deserved win. Good luck in Rome, i hope (for footy’s sake) it will be a ManU vs Barca final.

  12. TonyB says:

Fair play to ya – totally outclassed us. Not looking forward to work tomorrow, surrounded by Southern Manc fans :-(

I’m just hoping the ambition being shown at board level is rammed home to Wenger. His admirable experiment has failed for 4 seasons now – time to attempt to get back in contention with you guys by making the right purchases for now, not for 3-4 years time.

I reckon about 4 players will be required (minimum), but fear we just can’t afford it.

    Ho hum.

  13. el-insaciable says:

    :D

    Darren Fletcher, Football Genius.

  14. arsene wenger says:

theo needs to be played upfront, all this learning to play first team football in a wide position is bad management, 2 mistakes an your dead, thats man uniteds level, adebayor and van ,their not even worth 10 mill as a pair, fergie likes them both he can have them in exchange for o’shea and brown

  15. Mr Santos says:

Haha Notice how they only sang “And it’s Arsenal…” twice in the first 10 minutes then didn’t sing for the remaining 80 minutes, Fletcher’s red was a fucking travesty, I want to see the newspaper go mad about that one, Carrick’s pen was more debate, there is NO debate WHATSOEVER about this one.

  16. arsene wenger says:

it wouldnt suprise me if he swaps the orange juice and becomes a serious drunkard if he watches the replay of that game, his tactics are tom an jerry, i know he cant help the mistakes but we look like shyt

  17. dan! says:

I just wish we had the financial clout to give you guys an even game. Then you’d be sorry!

  18. RobM says:

As much as I hate to admit it, fair play, your team were the best ones over the 2 legs and no doubt about it.

I really don’t care if you or barca win it this year now, just as long as someone leaves that git JT crying by the end of it all.

  19. RedatHeart says:

Feeling gutted about Fletcher atm. I mean not only is it a harsh decision on the face value itself but the ref had absolutely zero brain power to give a pen and a straight red? I could understand a pen and a yellow but a red when the game is just abt finished as a contest was too harsh.

Like in the El Classico the other day when the score was 6-2 in favor of Barca the ref just blew up at the end of 90 min w/o playing any extra time at all. I think the fact that they have the referees on the pitch w/o the video technology assistance is to maintain the human element of the game. ( sort of like in cricket when a contentious decision is given by an on-field umpire). So where was the human aspect today? Hardly anyone argued that it wasnt a red card at all. I mean i can understand that from the referees POV it looked like a foul but still to give a straight red was just STUPID.

I hope hes man enough to own up on his mistake n not include it in his match report coz thats apparently the only way that the ban can be rescinded.

If Fletcher doesnt get to play in what will be surely the biggest game of his career I for one will be absolutely livid.

  20. arsene wenger says:

iv been reduced to the level of a spurs fan,but instead of them hopin my boys dont win any thing its me hopin chelsea get stuffed,oh dear

  21. Jonny says:

Just not good enough tonight. Two unlucky mistakes at the start and we were buried. Knocked the lads for 6 and they never recovered. Well played United.

  22. arsene wenger says:

fletcher shouldhave just left him,he let it bounce and had fluffed it anyway, i dunno how fergie would have took that though if he didnt stick his foot in,but it was a good tackle anyway

  23. Goonblogger says:

    I’m an Arsenal blogger.

Well done United, they wanted it more, they outplayed us and thoroughly deserved to go through.

    A class above.

Personally I now want Chelsea to win it but that is only because of family connections and for sentimental value but if United went on to win it i would have no complaints at all.

    Well done.

  24. Matthew Wade says:

Gooner comment as requested. Not a desperately surprising result. Always fancied utd to go through, the only surprise is the margin. As soon as gibbs slipped the wind was knocked out of us and ronnie’s rocket boots ended the tie. Sod always saves his best games for us, as does the unfortunate fletcher.

Basically Arsenal’s best 11 may have had a chance, but our squad is weaker than yours, and hargreaves and brown probably aren’t missed that much – gallas and clichy out leaves our defence horribly under-strength, as toure is all heart and no brain, and djourou and gibbs have maybe 1 years top flight experience between them, if that. Not what you want against the best team in europe! Also fergie’s tactics were better than arsene’s, and why oh why we didn’t get our wide players to swap flanks. Evra had walcott in his pocket, but o’shea would have struggled to contain him. But basically Utd have a lot of players at or near their peak, and the only arsenal players near their peak are the ones who probably aren’t quite good enough to be first choice (or are injured like rosicky, gallas, clichy, eduardo, or are cuptied).

Basically arsenal have found out that replacing the likes of henry, pires, campbell, vieira, seaman etc is bloody hard when you have less cash than your rivals, and i think the world and his wife know arsene let players go too soon. Hats off to utd and fergie – in 04 and 05 it looked like fergie might be done, but somehow he’s got an even better team now. The odd thing is its more like the great arsene teams than arsene’s current team.

Hope you play barca rather than the chavs as that would be a quality game for a neutral…

  25. arsene wenger says:

anyway good luck, hopefully he will start the same team as saturday against pumpey when we go to trafford in a couple weeks, sick of them primadonnas and fuckin muppets like ade an van

  26. redmojo says:

lmao. too funny. stadium was clear 15 minutes into 2nd half, at least it looked that way from the TV.

  27. Matthew Wade says:

ps santos….carrick’s one was never a penalty…the whole world knows it…let it go!

  28. keanesmagichat says:

    danish gooner

    jog on lad… no class

  29. Big Goon says:

Most, if not all referees wouldve given that as a peno. Fletcher got the faintest of touches on the ball, there’s no way the ref couldve seen that.

  30. Ahmed says:

there will be a time that man u fans will keep their mouths shot
    that is a promise

  31. DJR says:

The Telegraph’s first sentence is brilliant

“When the final whistle sounded the Last Post on Arsenal’s season, there were as many embarrassing gaps on the terraces as there had been in the hosts’ defence”.

And Ahmed, of course there will be – when we die. But, as the chant goes, Man United will never die.

  32. Mr Santos says:

I know it weren’t a penalty, but what one’s worse? Surely Gomes should have been sent off as well then. Practically the only time the ref goes by the rules and he’s wrong. Gutted

  33. Giles Oakley says:

    Were you watching, Aaron Ramsey?

  34. gazza says:

    that made me chuckle

  35. danny murphy says:

Utd played well but would they have played so well if gibbs hadn’t fell over and the ref gave a free kick that wasn’t, arsenal were playing as planned then the game was over, not by the great play of utd, arsenal didn’t play after the 2nd goal but it was a great counter for the 3rd goal but any team that is 3-0 up will look wonderful , I just think there is a lot of people going a bit over the top utd are a great side with great players , but then they have spent 100 million more then arsenal , you get what you pay for it its just a shame that it all comes down to money, let evryone have the same to spend then lets see or am I being silly

  36. TD says:

Fair result. Good luck in the final. We (arsenal) can have absolutely no complaints

  37. Mr Santos says:

Danny Murphy give it a rest, why aren’t you having a go about Chelsea, Man City or even QPR all mega rich clubs, but none all successful at the moment or in history so you don’t givva toss about them do you. Whatever you think of Berbatov, perceived as lazy etc. Costs £30mil, he actually wanted to join us. Example no.1 Robinho – £32.5, didn’t even know what team he joined. Example 2 – John Greedy Mikel – “I want to join Manchester United , big club, lalalala”, Chelsea withdraw a few fresh notes from the bank and he’s a Chelsea player who never wanted to sign for United?

  38. Ethiopia says:

Darren Fletcher, absolute fighter!!! Both legs of semi are yours.

  39. m34ch says:

@ danny murphy; we may have spent shedloads, but we win shedloads – kinda nullifies your point. Just because we spend more doesn’t mean by rights we should be winning, the fact we are though – hey ho, speculate to accumilate I say. As long as we’re winning and bringing in the moolah, spending isn’t an issue. Well played SAF, he knows how to win.
    United!!!

  40. Goons_with_Guns says:

    Well deserved CL final appearance.

However, we shall be given redemption in permanently derailing your PL bid when we come to visit–with Arshavin.

How pathetic that it’s come to this.

  41. juneau says:

i think those sniffer dogs were trained to hunt for trophies theyll never find… or perhaps the ‘suspicious package’ was a suspected trophy, and the stewards thought ‘what the f*uck is that doin here’

  42. Taggarts nose says:

…and that is why you lot are universally hated. Not content with celebrating a (totally justifiable) UCL Final appearance…you have to try and rub people’s noses in it.

    No class

  43. anderson8 says:

Fair play to MOST of the gooners for having the balls to post here tonight. Least you lads ain’t in making excuses.

  44. Dave Mack says:

Now lets take City apart on Sunday and a big chunk of pressure will be off allowing us to prepare for Rome as we want to. If things had of gone wrong tonight, I was really worried that City would take advantage on Sunday.

I’d prefer to get Barca or at least I’d prefer to beat them in the final!! What does everyone else think?

  45. Mr Santos says:

Link to my ‘Tuesday 5th May 2009 – The night Darren Fletcher became a United legend’ group on facebook http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=95634095627&ref=mf

  46. Nikraft says:

Maybe that trashing by Man United is what we needed for Wenger to think like a manager who is interested in winning something for once. I think a purge like the one Barca had is what we need. Personally I think both Bendtner and Ade should be offloaded, Diaby, Denilson, Djarou, Silvestre, and I dare say Eduardo, who I have a feeling is not wired for the Premiership just as Rayes was not, should all be send to the market.

I think we need a mature breed of players. Starting with a goal keeper for some 2 years as Fabianski develops; at least 3 mean and tall defenders, 3 midfielders and about 4 top strikers. AW must try to develop the depth of the squad and offloading this 7 should allow him to sign 12. The other two must be utility players like what Fletcher and O’shea is to Man United; they can strike, play midfield or defend and can be called on at the lean times.

    AW must bite the bullet.

  47. stretford972 says:

lots of respect for arsenal fans comin on here when u didn’t have to. Was a massive game and u got beaten well but at least u shown class and a pair of bollocks by facin up to it. Don’t comment too often on here, but its a nice change to murderin, bin dippin scouse cunts comin on and pappin shite. Fair play to you, hope its arsenal 2nd behind us again some time soon

  48. keanesmagichat says:

    taggarts nose

its a united blog bitter boy, so opposistion fans dont need to be on here if they dont want “their noses rubbed in it”..
presume your a dipper eh? gutted seeing us being so successful eh?
that feeling, its called envy…. now jog on and fuck off

  49. Arsenal 4 ever says:

    hi.
Arsenal is not good to win trophy s. Lets look on our team. who is our best player? that is hard question to answer. I know that fabregas and rvp are overrated. they are good players but they should not even be arsenal best players.they are 6.5 to 7.0 players out of 10. every body else should not even be in our starting 11. they should be our subs. every time we play a decent team we play bad. i feel that arsenal in not top 4 anymore we look like we are at the same level aston villa and man city are. our only good player is arshavin. well i am glad that we clinched 4th place so i can sleep better now.
    sorry for bad english

  50. Curt says:

Agreed w/ stretford972. Hats off to Arsenal fans coming on here and being respectful. I’ll take you guys over Scousers or Chel$ki any day.

  51. Taggarts nose says:

    Keanes (Robbie?) Magic Hat

    “dipper…bitter…fuck off…”

    Quality arguments there pal.

As I said – no class.

  52. King Eric says:

Taggarts – Yeah classy name. You actually are a dipper aren’t you , you bitter cunt. Think United showed plenty of “class” tonight don’t you?

  53. Matthew Wade says:

Giles….surely tonight vindicated ramsey…he’s much more likely to break into our midfield than yours, as he won’t have to wait until he’s become a man to be as tough as the rest! Thought Nasri and Song were good for us tonight….theo’s not a winger, and the sooner arsene starts playing him up front the better i think…maybe when we have rosicky, nasri and arshavin all fit.

Glad some of you have appreciated us gooners sucking it up. We may hate you, but its a respectful hatred! not like those chav scum wannabes or the ever aggressive spuds and their penchent for capitulation…2-0 up, 5-2 down the tottenham fanzine. Having said that, us lot like the scousers more than you, but thats probably because the last time they won the leaugue was 19 years ago…and to be fair their fans always clap us if we beat them..’89 meant a lot…i remember them clapping us even after we pissed on their hillsboro double.

Back on topic..what is your best 11? i’m not sure who your first choice midfield is…bugger knows whose ours is…when rosickly (cough cough) gets back we’ll have like 5 short-arse playmakers and 1 ball-winner….

  54. jcolas says:

Kind of sad but… I guess chelski are the pride of london ? :(

  55. lorons says:

Piers Morgan is a DICK. Let’s see what he thinks about this. Asshole.

  56. mj says:

Its a bit of a low blow, but I still couldnt help but chuckle.

  57. BrisbaneRed says:

“Kind of sad but… I guess chelski are the pride of london ?”

    Bullshit. They never will be.
One consolation if they do luckily manage to win the CL.
RA might piss off with a replica of the trophy.
Now that would be nice. Chelsea with no money behind them.

  58. Harsh says:

I hope to god barca beat chelsea , i can’t imagine that team in the final again with their 5 year history!

  59. Drew Vader says:

Of course that was a foul on Ronaldo! RvP didn’t get any of the ball, he was clumsy and clattered into the back of Ronnie. If you’re looking for excuses for that goal, why not ask Almunia if he’s got anything to offer?

Must admit though, that was a brilliant save from him on Rooney’s shot.

  60. Gooner77 says:

Well done guys and good luck in the final.
How we even got to the semi is beyond me after last night’s showing.
I’m realy sick of getting embaressed in big games, this team does not knwo how to play a big game. I felt sorry for Gibbs as that will scar him. Hopefully Wengers will realise we need steel and aggression in the side as well as precocious youth.
Theo will do well but there is no way he is going to last night when the game is over after 10 minutes, there was no room to stretch the play. Anyway very disappointed and angry fan here. I don’t think we created a single chance over two legs and that makes me angry.

  61. wazza says:

    @Scott, that’s a brilliant heading, lol
57,000 Arsenal flags for sale. Good as new. Only waved for seven minutes.

  62. suhayl says:

Danish Gooner…what a dick you are.

Atleast our managers not a peadophile

    how do you like that?????

  63. suhayl says:

Ahmed..there will be a time when utd fans become their mouth shut…

errrrrrr no…state the fuckin obvious…everything works in cycles and ends 1 time..duh!!!!!

I’ll tell you 1 thing though you wont have as much success, history, tradition as us…and you’ll never be as great and as big as us…..no matter what the future holds. Thats a fact

And our mouths wont be as shut as long as yours. Nows that s a promise.

    Muppet

  64. suhayl says:

Danny murphy….what you doing here…..you scouse reject.

Befor you come on her blabbing away….check the official transfer stats by the relevant bodies.

Chelski have spent 200 mill more than us

Scouse bastards…YES have spent more than us in the last 10 years…and that FSW has spent approx 180 mill in 5 years on fuckin deadwood and crap…buying 58 odd players. Net spend a massive 108 mill. HIGHER THAN US

Arsenal have the money..wengers been offered it plenty of times…..but because he balls up when he spends big..reyes, jeffers, wiltord….he refuses to spend.

    Thats not our fuckin problem

Now fuckin jog on..you fuckin cretin

  65. Padre Pio says:

Suhayl is out of order and beyond banter with his libelous comment on Wenger. Banter is ok but that comment is a disgrace. I hope you remove it
