It is no surprise to learn that the area above has agreed a £1 billion plan with Manchester City council to redevelop the area. The council owned area of land is deemed unattractive enough to warrant massive funding to improve it.
So where is this horrible piece of land?

Man Utd News 24/7

who is paying for this? taxpayers money or the sheik (who we are paying anyway through our fuel bills) ?
either way united fans are paying for this
hahahahahaha
When the owners get bored (like chavski) they wont be able to fund the wages or costs of running these dumps!
Lol is there anything that is not ugly about City?
the upper picture could be liverpool too
Bloody Hell!!
I thought the first picture was bad, but the second…
Haha
Clever, I like it.
This wasn’t a difficult quiz. The first picture is Citys training ground and the second picture is Flestovoy lunatic asyums swimming baths in Gradl, southern Poland.Its here young children are brought from all over Eastern Europe, sexually abused and forced to do athletics, for the enjoyment of fat dignitaries.
it’s not call wasteland for nothing ya.
Is it Bellamy’s house?
Both look like wretched hives of scum and villany
@Costas
It may as well be the bloody wembley pitch!
Hey Bellamy went up a notch in my estimation after the way he called Terry a tw*t when he shook his hand!
Before it was developed i know there was an area in there known as the Tripe . Sums it up well
@alpha_rs
Yeah, I actually respect him a bit more after that myself! When I first looked at the picture, I did think it was Wembley. The home of the cows!
Top picture – empty allotment
Bottom picture is obscured by a huge pile of shit – if that was removed I might be able to have a guess at what we are looking at
it looks like the image of hell from the retro pc game doom. a bit of a nerdy reference but it is uncanny. remove the image of the young paul scholes and you have it
http://www.brighthill.com/images/doom2.png
@Costas
The wembley pitch might as well be a pig farm! Hehehe.
I’m just watching the Champions League Final 2009 on my PC.
I’ve been putting it off for some time now. I know I’m gonna get upset.
But gotta face up to it sometime.
The first picture looks like something out of fallout 3, the wastelands lol.
@alpha_rs
Brave man! I actually recorded it on VCR(i must be one of the last old fahsioned peopel that still uses one
) but I deleted it a few days afterwards. That Eto goal is like a kick in the gut.
@Costas
I downloaded it off the net a few days after the final and I have just been putting it off for absolutely ages. Funny you should mention the Eto’o goal because he just scored and even as I watch it I’m screaming at the PC screen. We were absolutely all over them for the first 9 minutes.
I also watched the build up with Ronaldo interviewing Ronaldo saying he is hopefully going to stay at United next season. That is also annoying!
When SAF said a few days after the final he knew exactly what went wrong in the final. He never actually said what he thought that was.
You still have a VCR? Wow! That might be worth a lot of money in a few years time! Hehehe.
OWEN HARGREAVES IS REPORTED FIT TO PLAY MAN CITY
Wastelands
looks like the pitch at wembly
I like the Doom call the best.
HAHAHAHAHA
@Macheda IS GOD
Where did you see this? I’m sure he’ll have to feature for the reserves before Citeh…
“Owen went to see the specialist yesterday, that’s why he didn’t play last night,” explained the boss. “There’s nothing wrong, he’s been training and he’ll definitely play in the next reserve game (next Thursday, at home to Burnley).”
@alpha_rs
People forget about those first 9 minutes. I know it’s only 10% of the whole game, but it was indicative that we didn’t go there ready to roll over. That Eto goal is one of the most demoralising goals I have ever seen United concede.
I was watchingt the 08-09 review and while discussing Ryan Giggs, Ronaldo said that he wanted to play with him for many years. Argh…
@Sanj
Hi mate. Well, after what happened to poo Ritchie, I am glad that Owen pulled out of this game. Sounds like it was a red blooded affair. A home game to Burnley sounds like an easier hurdle for him. Looking forward to this Thursday!
If he plays, I’m not going to sleep that night.

“Both look like wretched hives of scum and villany”
They’ve moved from Moss Side to Mos Eisley.
lol…the same could be said about the Wembley pitch though..!
I was disappointed not to see Hargo playing with the reserves yesterday; I thought he suffered another major setback but the news about him playing next thursday is fantastic. It’s about time he plays football again.
@Fred
Does that mean that Tevez is Jabba the Hutt?
It’s a shame that horrible piece of land isn’t in that stadium.
Oh oh.

@Costas
Hi mate. Do you think Hargreaves will feature at all this season? If he plays next Thursday (fingers crossed), when do you think his first-team return will be? Bolton?
@Fze123
As far as Hargo is concerned, I’ll believe it when I see it!
only thing wi hargreaves is who knows what player we’re going to get after all this time out. It’r hard work for players to recover from long term injuries and there is no guarantee that he’ll be anywhere near the player he was
@Sanj
It depends. I would give him at least 5-10 games in the Reserves. If he comes back next Thursday, then I think that his return to the first team would happen at the latter stages of April.
Costas pal who is “poo Ritchie” ??
Is that 3 dog walking across the wastelands.
@King Eric
Did I write that? Poor Ritchie I meant. I was refering to De Laet’s injury.
Picture 1 What’s Virgin and a Balloon have in Common?
Picture 2 I see nothing significant here.”All it takes is one Prick and it’s all over”.
Oh my isn’t that the worlds richest and most powerful club with the second most biggest ego to Real Madrid?
: )
Costas – Only teasing mate! I knew what you meant.
@Costas
I have watched the game up to the 17th minute and give up.
United were still in the game at that point. Ronnie was brought down by Pique who could have been sent off. Ronnie took shots when he should have passed. Rooney looks a shadow of what he is now.
That Eto’o goal was a combination of Ando and Carrick allowing Iniesta to run between them too easily, Eto’o skining Vidic far too easily, Carrick not closing down Eto’o quick enough, and VDS letting the ball slip in the near post. Absolutely demoralising as you say.
Ronnie is world class. But it was increasingly difficult to keep his ego in check.
AlphaRs – Good grief man I really don’t know how you can watch that insipid performance. Truly awful. All boiled down to the fact our main midfield was missing and half the team were carrying injuries a la Rio, Carrick, Ando. I bet Messi would never out jump a fit Rio. Hope we meet them along the way.
@King Eric
Ah ok. I am a little bit slow when others are joking.
@AlphaRS
You lasted long enough! But I have to say that for a while in the second half we did get a hold of the game, but never looked like pulling it back. I think the highlight must have been Ronaldo kicking the shit out of Puyol the serial diver!
@King Eric
Even worse I have just watched another ten minutes! It is killing me.
In hindsight Rio was injured and I don’t think an injured Rio is better than a fit Evans. Also you are right about the midfield. They all seem out at sea at the moment. I wonder how United would have performed with Rooney straight down the middle. But Ronnie was never one to track back!
I hope we meet Barcelona in the final if we get there. As I said previously the camera does a close up on Rooney before kick off who looks up at Ronnie sitting in the stand and gives him a cheeky wink. Or preferably when he walks up the steps to collect the European Cup!
@Costas
I think going toe to toe with Barcelona was never going to work as man for man they are better in my honest opinion. Better off adopting Chelsea’s tactics in the semi final I think.
@AlphaRS
Or the tactics we employed a year earlier when we knocked them out at the Semi final stage.
May what ifs about that game though. What if Fletcher was there. What if Fergie realized back then that Park can do a great job as a central midfielder(he probably would have stayed closer to the likes of INiesta and Xavi than Ando did). Whether Berbatov could have caused them problems with his ball possesion. Only one way to find out. Lets get them at the Bernabeu this year.
think the second picture is the biggest outdoor shithouse ever built…..holds over 30 thousand seats…..you sit there and watch 11 cunts as well…..!!
Scott,
What are they going to do?
