Annan is a really fine player. Brilliant post-to-post, quick, ballsy player, wide-chested, ruthlessly opportunistic about tackling and stealing away the ball. I'm sure Ferguson worries he'll waste cash on another Djemba-Dejemba, but this guy is the dog's bollocks. It won't hurt him to gain more experience with Rosenborg, either. Hargreaves' knees are either going to have to undergo some complex, career-threatening surgery, or else he's bound to be around for about a third of every season.
