With us playing leeds a few days before the 1st leg i would play the kids in the FA cup match and then play a stronger team for the first leg of the semi… My team for 1st leg would be somet like kzuzchak, oshea, evans, vidic, evra, valencia, gibson, anderson, welbeck, berba, owen (obv depending on injuries at the time)

I think this is the draw where Sir Alex must go back on his principles and play the big guns. The thought of denying them an opportunity of silverware is a massive incentive to play the big guns. I know it may sound cruel on the kids, but I would be happy to see him make this one exception.

Atmosphere against Spurs was shite because there isn’t really any true hatred between the two clubs and both are prioritising the league this season.
