And to think Rafael gets sent off for touching someones shoulder.

  2. Andrew Weber says:

What a tool. Unbelievable that Howard Webb is still regarded as the best ref in England.

  3. eddieTheRed says:

I can see why Martin O’ Niell was so angry – did Terry get a card for this? I’ve been saying it all season – Chelsea get away with things on the pitch that no other club would get away with – except in Europe where refs are not afraid of them!

  4. Costas says:

    @eddieTheRed

Yeah he did. A yellow card. Meaning that he wasn’t sent off and the FA can’t act on it because the official saw it.

    All hail the British Bullshit.

  5. eddieTheRed says:

Next big refereeing scandal = England; only a matter of time!

  6. Always Be Closing says:

I’m more surprised he still has his leg attached than Terry getting anything more than a ticking off.

  7. piggysbeeftrousers says:

jesus, hadn’t seen the game, but that’s a really bad one – milner is really lucky to escape that.

it’s amazing the range of petty shit that will get you a booking, and the same punishment is dished out for something like that. does anyone know who the ref was?

  8. Bobkoh says:

Terry gets away with slamming someone’s legs …. again. I hear he refused to apologise for THAT one but bend down to touch Milner’s hand for this one. Sacked captain of England & present captain of the rentboy team!

  9. spacemanspiff says:

The ref was right next to the action and had a great view. Yet, it was only a yellow card, because the tackle was done by John Terry, the English bulldog who epitomizes the man’s game that is football. Disgusting twat.

Scott, the tag says “Just for fun”. It is a horrid tackle and the doctors have said that it is a miracle that Milner is still able to play. Could you remove it? Also, I don’t think James Milner (someone who has been heavily linked with us) would find it fun.

  10. Fze123 says:

That looks worse than Shawcross’s tackle

  11. davo says:

Milners leg actually bent…terry is such a fucking twat, ill feel physically sick if i see him lift the premiership, im just glad he wont lift the world cup!

  12. torontored says:

Deco should have been gone as well.

    Disgraceful tackle – disgraceful referee.

If the buffooons who run the game take no action as to how the game is policed it will continue as a joke and twat teams like Chelsea and Liverpool will get away with murder or gbh as in the above case.

  13. Sayyid says:

Can we stop talking about City and Chelsea

City are going to get into the CL and Chelsea are going to win the double somehow

We should have won the title this season but havent. Imagine if we had a fully fit Hargreaves, Anderson, O’Shea, Owen. Where’s Fabio???

Anyway it’s time for a new fresh squad next season

    GK: VDS/PIG/Foster

    RB: Rafeal/Brown
    CB: Rio/Vidic/Evans/Smalling
    LB: Evra/Fabio

(Neville needs to be phased out, do wereally need O’Shea?)

    RM: Valencia/Obertan
    CM: Hargreaves/Anderson/Gibson/Giggs/Rodwel (£18m) l/Milner(part exchange)
    LM: Nani/Park/Silva (£25m)

(Scholes needs to be phased out, Carrick exchanged for Milner, Tosic sold)

    CF: rooney/berbatov/owen/hernandez/macheda

(Diouf and Welbeck need to be loaned to Prem clubs)

    What do you guys think?

Our problems are in midfield and not upfront

  14. DEVILisRED says:

& he’s likely to lift the EPL title for chelski come May. a wifey fucker, lowest class of cunt.
what’s the world come to my friends?
    where is justice?
    sad isn’t it.

  15. Fred says:

    Costas says:

    “@eddieTheRed

Yeah he did. A yellow card. Meaning that he wasn’t sent off and the FA can’t act on it because the official saw it.

    All hail the British Bullshit.”

Exactly. Webb knew exactly what he was doing.

Did anyone hea Andy Townsend saying it was a good tackle on ITV? YCNMIU! Imagine if it had been a foreign player…

Chelsea have all but won the Double. Can you believe it?

  16. Sayyid says:

    lol

how can i forget Fletch from our Midfield!

  17. Sayyid says:

    @devilisred

and whose fault is it, that the scum will lift the EPL. Dont want to see his and fat frank’s face lift that title

lol…imagine they lose to spurs and liverpool and we still win the title..unlilkely though as the refs will make sure chelsea win it

  18. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

why is everyone saying he didnt get ant punishment????

did you’s not see the game .

    he did.

    he got a yellow card

you know the same punishment Boatang got yesterday for taking his jersey off celebrating his winning goal that put his team in the fa cup fianl 24 hours after they got relegated

    FUCK JOHN TERRY

  19. Bohemet says:

That is just plan sick, Tinytears must have something seriously wrong in his head. And that goes for the ref too, how the hell can he defend not sending him off for that?
Imagine the noise this would have made if it were Wayne or anybody else from United that made that tackle?? And they crucified Shawcross???

  20. Irish Red says:

I was watching that match and he just got straight up. I honestly dont know how. Terrible tackle. On another note, I think that Milner would be a good signing if we could get him. Im spite of his leedsness but we took Smith and Owen so i wouldnt say that would be much of a problem.

  21. RED SAM says:

fuck john terry he wants 2 make sure lampard position in england is no any under threat

  22. perkythered says:

    Terry = fucking chav cunt

  23. Sayyid says:

    @Bohemet

every Utd fan knows the hypocircy of the english scum media and FA

rio gets a 4 match man whilst chelsea/pool players get away with it

henry gets sent off for nothing against arsenal allowing them to win that match

we dont get given stone wall penalties as the refs think if they give it, they will be labelled bias towards Man Utd

i have always believed that Utd have to score 2 extra goals than the oppoistion just to cancel out the enept performances of the referee. Wiley yesterday disallowed Spurs goal to ensure Chelsea will play the easy team in the Final. What a stich up!

  24. vish says:

bohemat, u don’t understand GHTT’s sarcasm yet mate.. he’s just pointing out the ironic idiocy of the FA’s card system. I’m all against violence, normally, but that is assault. Milner should have kicked him back, fuck the game, that’s simple MMA fighting, JM should’ve gone to town on JT’s sorry arse.

  25. Costas says:

    @GHTT

Good to see you back. It was going to take something like this to get you to comment!

John Terry will probably list the Premiership title in season where he disgraced his country, his club, his teammates and in a season where United lost their best player and suffered from he worst injury crisis in our history. Not to mention refs favoring them all year. Yeah, they are championship material.

  26. KevKev says:

Ok over the past couple of weeks, amongst all the baerba bashing, I have also seen calls for Carricks head.

Obviously there are legitimate concerns for United supporters. The main one is Michael Carrick’s regression and his seemingly fixed inability to influence big matches…

I like Michael Carrick a lot, and have defended him on these boards countless times. I think he’s an excellent player, and he’d walk into any other Premier League side, Chelsea (perhaps) excluded.

However, I do wonder if his time is running out, primarily because of the formation United are now adjusting to. With the 4-5-1 being clearly Ferguson’s preference now, Carrick is often called on to play the “creative” role in midfield. In a way it makes sense – he’s the kind of midfielder that can link defence with attack, and has a great eye for a pass. But he’s not enough of an attacking option, and it seems that Ferguson likes two deeper-lying midfielders behind him (often Fletcher and Scholes). I can see United bringing in a truly creative central midfielder, in the goal-scoring sense, and Carrick finding himself on the sidelines or discarded completely.

It’s a shame, because I think he’s a first-rate player and an easy target for opposition fans who either don’t watch United games, or don’t really notice players that aren’t calling attention to themselves the entire match.

Carrick was the only signing in the season of 06/07. We hadnt won the premiership for 3 years. That season, Carrick helped us win it in his debut season. He went on to help us win 2 more. And a champions league, two carling cups and a world club championship, as well as, if you like, 2 community shields.

Basically, Carrick has never had a season where he has not won the title with United which is spooky. This may be the season that blemishes the record but with 4 games to go yet, im still optimistic that we can claw back in. But I am the eternal optimist.

What it comes down to, is his failure to step up in big games might be what costs him. Shame. Seems a nice bloke.

But I honestly don’t want to see him leave United.

  27. Che Guevarist says:

I can’t believe such an average team is probably going to win the double. It’s been a while since we won the FA cup eh?

  28. Costas says:

    *lift*

  29. Mamdouh says:

what a leader !! he could breack his national team meat leg !! how could someone like that become a captin for england ?! what a miss !!

  30. Costas says:

    @Che Guevarist

Yeah it was in 2004. One FA cup in 11 years is not like Man United given out track record. It’s really amazing that no one has overtaken us in FA cup trophies all these years!

  31. Irish Red says:

    @ Sayyid

Although i believe there is a bias toward Chelsea. I dont agree with most of your comment. To say that the ref disallowed a spurs goal so they would play an easier team is rubbish. Keepers are far too protected and that was just another instance of that. I wouldnt begrudge Portsmouth that win. They played very well. Spurs didnt show up. Rio also only got a 3 match ban which was extended to 4 for frivolous appealing and Rio deserved that ban. He smashed fagan with his forearm. The Gerrard and Mascherano situations were different because the ref saw them and at the time gave a yellow so the F.A. couldnt charge so I think your anger should be directed at the F.A.’s flawed system which it most certainly is.

  32. RED SAM says:

he will break his compatriots legs and shag their wiveswhat a national hero….

  33. Joel says:

It will be fucking injustice if this cunt gets to lift the Premier League trophy at the end of the season.

  34. Sayyid says:

    @Mamdouh

I still have hope in karma and that Terry will get injured for the World Cup.

  35. elvido says:

Jeez!!! And to think all the referees are biased towards us!!
Terry, Ballack, Cashley and f******* disgrace Drogba, I can’t stand the lot! The blood boils! Bunch of W******!

  36. bimal10p says:

oh i din the see the game…

but this is terrible..that he escaped with a simple yellow…
Chelsea has been awarded such decision earlier also am not surprised…

No wonder O’niell is making so much noise…

  37. Sayyid says:

    @elvido

If we cannot win, lets hope Arsenal win the title (lessor of 2 evils)

At least Liverpool are going to finish 7th this season (and will still get into Europa League as those dopes Pompey havent applied for a Euro liscence)

  38. theboogeyman says:

GHTT, Costas back, only King Eric and AIG left.

  39. joe_ro says:

Milner is lucky that the Wembley pitch IS shit. Any other pitch and his studs would have stuck in the turf and he would now have a broken leg.

Also. Fabio seems like he will be loaned to Sporting Lisbon next season? I think that’s fair. He needs a run of games and with Evra in front of him, thats not going to happen!

  40. willierednut says:

Terry’s just gutted that Milner is going to United in the summer and he’ll never get to play for a proper big club. GHTT, welcome back

  41. Irish Red says:

    @ willie

Do you reckon hell be at us next year. I think that would be a great signing

  42. Irish Red says:

Oh and sayyid The dippers will get into the europa anyway if they finished 7th regardless of pompey getting a uefa licene or not because villa are already in it because of the carling cup final

  43. Irish Red says:

    *licence*

  44. willierednut says:

Irish Red – Thats the rumours mate and O’neill admitted that he expects offers for him in the summer, hope we get in there first.

  45. Sayyid says:

    @Irish Red

The runners up of the CC dont get into Europe. It goes to 6th team in Prem if CC winner is already in Europe

With FA Cup, the runners up do get into Europe I believe, if they arent already

It would be better for us if the dippers are in Europe as we dont want them to have a fresh squad for the Premiership

  46. Irish Red says:

Ye but the extra place for the carling cup goes to the league anyway So thats an extra place. Football 365 are saying that pompey are appealing the FAs decision not to grant them a uefa licence because theyre in administration with the extra place going to 8th in the league!

  47. Fred says:

Milner is a nothing player. I’d hate to see him at United.

  48. Paul Parker says:

Imagine if Rio did that? He’s be locked up for GBH and Affray….

  49. afromanc says:

He really is a lucky cunt that one. Hate with a passion! How fucked up did rio’s finger look on sunday, made me cringe!

  50. Green and gold till they fucking die or fold. says:

The one thing that hurts me the most,is that this wanker is going to lift the EPL crown at the end of the season. We really should have taken full advantage of his nasty affair with his ex team mate’s girlfriend.
At least i still have his photo, sitting on his arse and crying after he discovered that he’s a bottler.
    LUHG

  51. Gudjohnsen says:

Jesus, that’s a straight red card! How on earth didn’t he get sent off for that? His studs catch Milner just below the knee. Would it have been a red if Milner had been seriously injured? You can actually see his leg bend when Terry catches him. If Milner’s leg would have been completely on the ground with his full weight on it, then Terry would have ended Milner’s World Cup dream for sure.

  52. Giles Oakley says:

Words fail me with John Terry.

  53. NotoriousRedDevil says:

First time I’ve seen this. Let me guess no card for Terry.

  54. Mhihrh says:

In bohemets comment tiny tears means terry, not ghtt.

  55. kel says:

Scary!!! Stupid cunt. First time scolding.

  56. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    @Giles
Hello to you sir I hope all is well with you can I ask a private question and ask if you used to be a retired TV producer

  57. KingAbdullah says:

Its scandalous that he didn’t see RED for that one…and to think Villa made a big fuss about Vidic not going off

  58. bchilds says:

Any other player (possibly Saint Stevie Me aside) would have been sent off for that tackle. Any United player would have got banned, no doubt about it.

  59. Giles Oakley says:

Hi Ghtt, nice to hear from you. Yes I’m a retired TV producer.

  60. theboogeyman says:

GHTT- I thought the same thing about Giles myself.

  61. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

Giles Oakley I cant believe it. The Man That The BBC respects is a respect member of the ROM family. I came across your name as my good lady had ordered videos in from the bbc and i seen your name as head of Disability Programmes. Its an Honor Sir and As I say I really hope evryday that your health gets better everyday

  62. In4muslegand says:

Fuck Terry he is a total cunt!

  63. Marq says:

And yes, because he got a yellow card, the FA will not be able to do anything to him.

    Fantastic rule!

  64. 0161-Jon says:

Terry doesn’t deserve to be on the plane to South Africa

  65. Giles Oakley says:

Wow, Ghtt, what a small world. To be totally accurate, I was Head of BBC Community & Disability Programmes in the ’90s, a department made up of two units, one of which was Disability Programmes, whose editor, Ian Macrae, happens to be a cousin of Gazza’s! I saw Ian only about a month ago. Needless to say he’s a Toon supporter. I mentioned some of my BBC times in the things I wrote for Scott last autumn on Eric’s kung-fu kick at Palace, which is maybe how Boogeyman sussed it. When I’m a bit fitter I stil l aim to complete that saga, with the tale of King Eric’s Redemption…

Thanks as always for your kind good wishes for my health. It’s funny whenever you call me ‘Sir’ it always reminds me of an Irish friend who always does that, so I sort of ‘hear’ it when you write it. Obviously there’s no need for it, but I appreciate it anyway, a little oasis of politeness.

With very best wishes to your wife!

  66. arsene wenger says:

much worse than shawcross’s tackle, simular to that lovely man martin taylors tackle, perhaps milner was just a bit to quick for him, he wouldnt hurt a fly that lovely lad terry

  67. musvn says:

of the topic, but wtf FA did with their Wembley ground!!! Relaid like hundreds of time and still didnt get it right. Harry talked about the condition of the pitch again yesterday!

  68. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

giles i dont know your age and ill never ask but my dad taught me “if a man is a day older than you you call him sir. unless they’re a bollox.” he’d a great way with words like my favourite “my kids mean the world to me but you dont mean shite compaired to your mam” how sweet. my misses or smurf as i call her manages a creche that got some bbc stuff in and your name was on it . Keep fighting the good fight and get stuck in to another cracking cantona post. when i used to play ball as a young man i used to come on to the pitch i used to kiss my fist ala eric running on to wembley to play liverpool. eric was the man in my house

  69. Wakey says:

    @Sayyid

Yes we need O’Shea simply because he can act as cover across the whole back 4 and in midfield.

We aren’t going to get Silva for £25mill imho. We had a £25mill bid accepted and then rejected for him in Summer 2008. Since then Valencia has decided that despite the finacial issues they don’t need to sell and can ask stupid money for players (Remember they turned down £40-45mill for Villa from Barca and Real last summer) and they will be able to play a few clubs off each other if they do decide to let Silva go.

And Rodwell certainly won’t go for 18mill, he is English and at an English club and is a hot talent. Also Everton are pretty good at getting the best deals possible (They get bargains in the players they sign and seem to get every last penny they can in players they sell)

On Obertan I can’t say he has really impressed me yet and while I think he is still worth giving a chance BUT Tosic has done better imho in the reserve games I have seen than Obertan and Tosic is doing well in Germany by all accounts so he should be given a proper chance which he hasn’t been given.

I’m not sure on Milner, he is a good player BUT i’m not sure he has what we are missing. We need an attacking mid who will guarantee 10+ goals in a season as well as a good number of assists.

  70. Giles Oakley says:

Ghtt, I’d forgotten Eric kissing his fist. Great lines from your Dad, sounds as entertaining as you are every day here. Glad to hear your missus Smurf works in a creche. I was involved in a campaign to get one in the BBC around 1978-80. We didn’t win at first but did in the end, and changed a lot of peoples’ minds about the whole thing. Funnily enough I was thinking about it only today as two friends from that campaign emailed me today to meet up . Sorry about this private dialogue folks, but we all have lives beyond football. I’d love to know what everyone does, how they get on with their families, other things about them. I’ll be reminding my daughter of King Eric kissing his fist. He remains her favourite player. Brought up proper, y’see, just like Emily.

  71. shebangsthedrums says:

Terry is a complete tosser. How on earth did he get away with only a yellow. Smacks of inconsistency again. Remember Gary Neville earlier in the season got sent off in the league cup for a similar foul, only Nev won the ball cleanly, but because his follow through was high, he got a red. What a joke referees have become this season.

  72. 1878 says:

    FUCK!!!! .. WHAT AN ASSHOLE!

  73. Snoopy says:

Double standards for the referre!… T.T

  74. yooney says:

It’s a sad indictment of English football that FA still let him represent Ingurland at international level. There was a time when there was prestige in representing England. Bobby Moore must be turning in his grave now that people like this cunt are allowed to sully the shirt..whorshipped by low class fans as their leader n legend..

  75. frog says:

terry lampard gerrard are so far up the fa arse they can get away with anything they want too weve all seen it dickheads like townsend and the rest are all blinkered to to the fact thees twats are fucking horrible little twats fact ihope terry gets fucked rotten in south africa and gets aids cunt

  76. Fabio says:

Straight red if that was a united player….

  77. Fabio says:

Terry is a dirty ****, I thought the FA where cutting out these sort of tackles, or does it apply to us only.

  78. redorded says:

Conspiracy Theory: Either SAF so pissed off the Referees earlier in the season, that they have collectively conspired not to have Utd. win the title, while Abramovic and the Refs have a deal going.

  79. united84 says:

I saw on the news (cant remember which channel) that Chelsea released a statement or something saying that Terry has phoned Milner to see if he was ok but also said that he (Terry) DID NOT apologise for what he did ..why am i not surprised at this? lol

(sorry if someone had pointed this out already too many comments too read)

  80. lawman10 says:

    terry…………………..one horrible cunt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  81. danunited says:

fuck this cunt, fuck the FA, and fuck ingerland too

  82. Doomsday says:

horrible tackle from a horrible cunt

  83. Scum says:

You say that Chelsea gets away with things that no other team would get away with? What about referees and their fear of Alex Ferguson? He intimidates referees in post-match interviews, insinuating that they’re not doing their job properly, that they’re out of shape, etc. HE influences so-called ‘Fergie Time’ – when an abnormal amount of injury time is added on during matches that Manchester Utd are either drawing or losing. So don’t talk about controversy and referees. Just look what happened at the Everton match last week, that’s all the proof you need. But obviously, Sir Alex can do no wrong in your eyes, I suppose.
