North stand tier 2 – I just can’t agree mate Ibra is far to overated, dont get me wrong tho I dont think he is shit by any means, I just dont think he is as world class as people think.

how are 30 players, over half of whom are unworthy to be called the european player of the year, considered a “shortlist” of players? they should just start out with a list of 11 legit contenders, and not waste time pulling names out of a hat to come up with the rest. there are so many names on this “shortlist” that truly do not deserve this honor and have no chance of winning it, why should anyone waste any time thinking about them?

how is stevie sucker punch on the list? did i miss something or did
he win any type of silverware in the last few years? if he wins the award will they play a highlight of his cctv assault video before his acceptance speech? what a worthy nominee!

lastly, is there a better left back in europe than patrice evra? i can’t think of anyone who comes even close. how can evra be the best player at his position in all of europe, and not even make such a long and questionable “shortlist?” is sepp “i openly hate england” blathering idiot behind all this? or is it his errand boy, michel “i want to be sepp someday” platini?

I would think it is the same reason that benzema didnt join united but left for madrid. It seems like everyone across europe rates barca and madrid better than anyother team when the premier league is obviously the best league in the world and we’ve been the champions for the past 3 years. Its just fuckin stupid and really annoying when people turn us down.
