Frankly, I’d be happy if we get a ban similar to Chelsea’s. We’ve got a lot of young players that need a chance to shine, and the main core of the team can play for at least a couple of years more, with the exception of Rio perhaps. It could also improve the financial state of the club. Sure, we’ll be weaker compared to other teams but, overall, I think that United would actually benefit from this.

That’s exactly what we want to hear from our Chairman ..
Le Harve and Louvel should have more respect toward our club, but then again all french clubs have started to randomly file complaints to english clubs !!

fifa are like a bunch of racists against the UK, its like if they collected all the anti ones and put them in one pool. lets face it blatter is a real madrid member which so unfair it makes madrid even more slack 2 just go and make more illegal tapping up scandals in public. look at italy scandel in 2006 milan getting off so lighly juve to be fair were heavily done, the abysmel italians fans, turkish fans stabbing leeds and man utd fans yet nothing is done, madrids nazi fans which should have docked and band them from europe for a year or 2. the list goes on and on and on, what about spanish clubs mysteriously getting african players on their books at early ages. I wonder how lyon get hold of half the africans in their sqauds strange there isnt it.

NightRunner79 hit the nail on the head! Why can’t kids (unproffesional) play for whoever they fucking want!? can they not ‘choose’ to leave! THAT’s the fucking slavery! It’s like your school saying, “You can’t move house/opt for a better school! What about all the shit we taught you! and the movey we spent on teachers!? WTF! Sit down and shut up till we cash in on your graduation!” I should be up to the clubs to try and keep them, and the kids to choose what’s best for themselves. No contracts, no bullshit!

The stupid 90 minute rule the fa brought in has made it easier for us to get kids from france than it is to kids from london or the west country etc.

As for the french clubs they have no issue bringing in kids from africa do they?

Thanks Sully. I also completely agree with King Eric. It’s the saddest thing in the world when a brilliant prospect lets it go to their head. There were some warning signs with Kiko celebrating with his mates last season which I had tried to put to the back of my mind. I would like to know more about his clash with Anderson (alleged…) Was it about football matters? Personality clash? Jealousy? Egos?

On the comparison with Mark Robins, I don’t think he fell apart or came off the rails, I think he just didn’t develope his all-round game. I had high hopes of him as he was a very clinical, clean finisher, with that rare ability to ‘pass’ the ball into the net as well as having a good voilley on him. I remember a couple of goals he got at QPR which had me purring. I don’t know if he was given enpough chances to widen his repertoire, as in getting more involved in build-u play and team movements, or if he really just didn’t have what it takes at the highest level. Same with Any Ritchie, who went on to do so well for Oldham.

Hi guys, have to agree with you King Eric re Macheda.
He does seem to have developed the symptoms that afflicted Kieran Richardson in the past. He seems to be developing a taste for the highlife around Manchester. This i know for fact as i am particularly well placed to know who’s out’n'about most weeks and where.
Couple that with the rumoured fall out with another player on the training ground and there’s cause for concern.
Great start, great potential, but he’s got a way to go before he’s made it at OT.
As for Pogba, the “think” bit by Gill is a little disconcerting!
