An unofficial Euro 2016 song has been brought out to raise money for charity Nordoff Robbins. The song supporting England has been released by discount website MyVoucherCodes.co.uk where they’ve recruited students to record the song on a small budget.

The song ‘Gonna Win The Euros’ by The 1966 was written, filmed and produced on a budget of just £19.66 – with the aim of reflecting that supporting England may break your heart but it doesn’t have to break the bank.

This indie record and video were written and produced by the School of Communications Arts in just 24 hours and hopes to bring a bit of optimism to England fans about the tournament ahead. The video features ‘Gary Lineker’ in his pants and recreates famous England moments using finger puppets.

The song was released on iTunes 5th June and is available to buy at 59p. MyVoucherCodes are donating all proceeds to music therapy charity, Nordoff Robbins.
