Apart from Carrick and Fletch, Gibbo has just signed a new contract, Ando will be looking to have a go next season, hopefully he’l play attacking than defensive, Giggs and Scholes are like one world class midfielder, who contributes with vital goals. and then come January, we will have two new additions to our squad. Owen Hargreaves, the best defensive midfielder when on form in the EPL, and Adem Ljajic from Partizan, world class talent.

CDMs- Fletch, Ando (since he is used such), Giggsy (he plays everywhere nowdays), O’Shea (if the back four are completely fit, he’s always an option), Hargreaves (come january, fingers crossed)
CAM/CMs- Carrick, Gibson, Scholes + Giggs, Anderson (hopefully), Adem Ljajic (january onwards)
our midfield has Anderson who is not a starting 11, yet he can outclass even Gerrard, not to mention Fabregas lol! that alone is an indication.
In my opinion our midfield is not the strongest, which may go to Chelsea (Ballack Lampard Essien Mikel) but we have the most stable, consistent and the most important attribute – systematic midfield line up.
And sad to say, Arsenal’s the weakest among the top four, although they may possess the most flair. Why weakest? They are all easily injured! Furthermore, they dont actually click very well together, they just know how to move forward together. Instead, our midfield’s off the ball movements work more efficiently.

I can’t see scholes and giggs playing an awful lot of games next season. Scholes has just had an average season, giggs won the player of the year award but we all know it wasn’t truly all based on that one year.
We need Anderson and Nani to show their true value. We all know that they’ve got it. I imagine Hargreaves won’t be back to his best until the last 2 or 3 months of the season.
All in all though I think we are ok. wouldn’t mind extra signings but I’m not gonna cry If we don’t get any.
