    How nice to see birthday greetings from Scott the Red to a Red Scot! Every Single One of Us does indeed Love Alex Ferguson – never better sung than at Tottenham on the last day of the 2000-01 season when it looked like he was being pushed out. Absolutely spine-tingling.My memory is that the singing was non-stop throughout the first half and into the beginning of the second. Pity about the result, mind you, softened by the fact United had already won the Premiership. Many happy returns, Sir Alex, and let’s all hope he gets another title in his birthday presents to take it to 19 – a reall knocking off a certain ‘fucking perch’!.
