Following his move from Universidad de Chile this summer, Angelo Henriquez has acknowledged that he needs to improve if he is to get time in United’s first team.
“I’m training and looking to get an opportunity,” the 18-year-old told Radio Bio Bio. “There are many things I have to improve to reach the level of Manchester United forwards. I won’t ask to be given some minutes and nor will I pretend I’m better than I really am. I have to go step by step. I have to adapt and improve physically.”

Morrison, Pogba are you listening???
Work hard and the sky is the limit.
Good attitude from him! would love to him in play in the first team!!
Seems a top lad!
Is it the 15th yet? Bloody Int’l breaks
@ididnotzeeit, same here buddy. I feel it in my fingers, I even feel it in my toes!
Hope to see AH in action at U21 level soon.
Henriquez not asking for minutes
I think he have a great attitude, but if you want to improve you need those minutes in the pitch
And I’m sure the gaffer will give him cause he’s a great kid, with great potential to become one of the worlds bitters, he’s strong enough to feature in some first team cup comp… And once given the kid will grab the chance with both hands
Great future ahead
19!!!
off topic: 75% tax on those earning more than €1 million a year in France.

Maybe this will give Lucas M a second thought.
I wish him luck with the reserves tonight. Hope he scores one to get his confidence a lift
The future is bright, the future belongs to MANCHESTER UNITED.
Chicharito, Welbeck, Rooney, Van Persie, WKeane, Henriquez, Cleverley, Giggs, Scholes, Valencia, Nani, Young, Powell, Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, LIngard, Cole, Carrick, Anderson, Fletcher, Brady, Vidic, Evans, Rafael, Fabio, Evra, Ferdinand, Buttner, Smalling, Jones, MKeane, Blackett, De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Johnstone.
Scholes currently plans to retire next year, hopefully we ship of Macheda as his time has gone and we might sell Evra off who knows but still the future is looking pretty damn good. I dont buy this paper rubbish concerning Nani at all, dont believe we will sell him and dont believe he wants to go, wont until I see it….anyway we could get a cool £50m for him as he is one of the best in the world if we do sell, which I doubt, just like I doubt we are trying to off-load Anderson.
We have to give Tunnicliffe, Petrucci, Keane twins, Lingard, Blackett, Brady & Cole some game time and obviously get Henriquez on the pitch with the 1st team as they have a big part to play in the future. Kagawa is a great bit of business, Clevz is the real deal,Valencia is probably the best right-winger in the biz, with Chicha, Wazza, Welbz & RVP we have the best strike force in the world, Evans and Vidic can form a formidable defence and with Rafael, Buttner & Fabio we have 3 great fullbacks, Amos & Lindegaard are great keepers and De Gea will become the best keeper in the world (no-one will ever be better than Schmeichel). Sir Alex Ferguson has done it again, the future is bright and is trophy galore, lets sit back and enjoy it. Thank you Fergie – 3 more years please.
Right attitude, right mentality and added with talent can only mean he’s bound for the top and hope he makes it. He has all tools and ability to be a regular at united and with time, hopefully he fulfills the potential.
Henriquez seems a likable lad. Best of luck.
Hope he gets under the wing of Chicharito and progresses to the first team!
@MIG Believe you me…. the loopholes are bigger than the English channel !
Fergie is God @ 15:06: That’s an impressive list of talent, depth AND youthful prospects. But it’s a mystery how/when/IF a team gels. Being an optimistic, glass-half-full-kinda-guy, I’m hopeful that this year is the beginning of SAF’s last, great team.
Nice , perfect words. Now go get it. He was wanted by other big clubs.
Perhaps Kagawa isn’t injured and it was to do with his last performance. I’m not usually one for conspiracy theories.
Great to see a proper attitude from such a young man. COuld have a bright future in front of him as a result. a few years training with Roo, RVP, Welbz and Chico will improve his game dramatically. Welcome to UNITED son
Hope you match your words with action
@fergie is….15:06
U re good I love it. Henriquez from what is been said is an upgrade of Ruud van goal
@CrimpWalker
You’re right Pogba and Morrison could learn something from Henriquez’s attitude — more to the point, so could those lazy fuckers pudding Anderson and lightweight Nani.
Lad shows humility. The cornerstone of greatness both in achievements and character. Scholes et al. True united attitude
THAT is the MUFC difference!!! The lad’s words are music to my ears. CHARACTER does count! In other news Hugo Lloris is set to hold another press conference and Pogba, Morrisson and Fryers were seen asleep in the stands during their team’s matches due to lack of first team time.
Excited. Still nowhere NEAR as excited as Will Keane has been making me the last three seasons. GET WELL SOON LAD.
One things for sure if the lad has that kind of mentality he wont go far wrong, and if he were’nt to make it here it wont be down to applying himself in the wrong manner, breath of fresh air.
Ged in dher yong Brady!
