How Did The Arsenal Ladies Team Get On Tonight?

This is a rare post for RoM, as it has absolutely nothing to do with Manchester United. But there are some things that you just can’t ignore, and that slimy little prick Cesc Fabregas’ comments which appeared in this morning’s paper fit in to that category.

Ahead of the North London derby, Arsene Wenger had a sympathetic reaction to the current situation at Tottenham Hotspur. They’ve had a woeful start to the start to the season, leading to the sacking of Juande Ramos, which Wenger believed was premature.

However, Fabregas was less kind, claiming that given Spurs’ predicament at the moment, even the Arsenal Ladies’ side could get a result against them.

“They would do really well,” he said. “I’m sure they would get a point!”

Well, Fabregas, you cocky cunt, don’t you feel like a dick now? At 4-2 up, the Arsenal fans will have been rubbing it in, adding insult to injury. They should have been given a wake up call in the 89th minute when Jermaine Jenas made it 4-3, but they weren’t, as a couple of minutes in to injury time Aaron Lennon scored the equaliser for Spurs.

As the crowds poured out of Old Trafford this evening, following our 2-0 win over West Ham, there had been grumbles over hearing the Liverpool and Chelsea results, a cheer for City’s result, and a laughter filled roar for Arsenal’s.

Arsenal Ladies indeed!

Just logged in here, its fucking worse than yesterday!!! Arsenal and Spurs fans going at it on a United website??? I dont even want to get involved…

United were great in the first half last night, it died a bit in the second. Rafael is a breath of fresh air, his energy is brilliant, but he is a bit raw as a defender, and got caught up the pitch too many times. But he’s young, and he’ll learn.
Thought Ronaldo was an improvement overall (even excluding the goals), he seemed to be enjoying himself a bit more, and did a bit more work than we’re used to.
Berbatov had a decent first half (the skill for the second goal was world class) but was pretty non existant in the second half.
Rooney looked super hungry when he came on, he’s like a kid who just got his school holidays and all he wants to do is kick ball all the summer long.
This guy HAS TO PLAY every week.
Good to see Carrick back in aswell, and also Carlito bursting a gut as usual. Over all, happy enough. Hull are gonna get it on Saturday.

On a side issue, if you’re reading this FailsworthDevil, I was listening to an interview on the radio last night with Wilf McGuinness, and he said the best player he ever saw, trained or played with was Duncan Edwards. And he also compared certain aspects of his game to Rooney. Thought you might find that interesting.
Now, sorry to have bored ye with some thoughts on United, I dont know my place some times.
Arsenal and Spurs fans, go on at it again there if ye like…

Lost a lot of respect for Fabregas after he said that.

Anderson, son, son, he’s our midfield magician…

    …and he shits on Fabregas!!!!!!

i think cesc needs to stop talking to the press and concentrate on the fact that so far this season he hasn’t been half as good as last season when arsenal were stronger and still didn’t win anything.

:) :) I can’t get enough of the irony, it’s feckin hilarious!!! Cesc and Adebayor are real twats, this is not the first time they have displayed such traits. Everyone knows Adebayor is scum, but they keep defending Fabregas because he looks harmless. If it’s not spitting on Ballack or ignoring racism, he’s spewing other moronic comments and i’m glad this one came back to bite him in the arse. Hopefully this result can knock all the confidence out of them, would really love to see them battling with Man Shitty and Hull.

Arsenal conceding 4 at home to the team bottom of the league

    Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!

    Fabregas= Total prick

And the Arsenal fan who said we don’t have a game in hand anymore, its against Fulham, not Everton. Dopey sod.

    Arsenal – Hahahahahahahaha!!!

If Ronaldo made a similar comment about the United Ladies team before a game with Liverpool, I doubt you’d refer to him as ’slimy’. Although it has to be said the slimyness of his head does give him problems staying on his feet sometimes. It was a cocky jibe but funny all the same. Lighten up.

Horrible defending all round. I could laugh at the final whistle seeing the Spurs fans celebrating like it Christmas at a result that leaves them comfortably bottom of the table. Clearly the result was about ‘pride’ for them. Well they can have their ‘pride’ and 20th spot, and they all get to watch Eastenders next season, not distracted by this Champions League thing they’ve heard so much about.

Jonny – I didn’t call Fabregas slimy because he said what he did about the Ladies team. I called him slimy because that’s exactly what he is. A nasty little cunt who spits in the face of his opposition.

  10. Jonny says:

That video doesn’t prove a thing.

  11. SteRDLK says:

Jonny, United dont have a ladies team.

  12. Stephen says:

Jonny, was their jumping up and down like Xmas anything like yours last season getting a point at home against us?

  13. Jonny says:

Not quite to the same extent. Besides, that point kept us top of the table, ahead of you. Spurs’ point leaves them bottom. Thats why i found it so amusing.

  14. Anderson says:

    ANDERSON-SON-SON
    He’s better then Kleberson
    ANDERSON-SON-SON
    Our midfield magician
To the left, to the right
    to the samba beat tonight
he is class with the brass..
… AND HE SHITS ON >FABREGAS<

  15. Stephen says:

Not as amusing as Bentley I am sure.

  16. Jonny says:

Anderson> Kleberson. Yeah i’ll give you that one.
    Anderson> Fabregas? Not even close.

  17. Jonny says:

What about Bentley? Spurs gave us 7 million for that overrated chavtastic twat.

  18. Scott the Red says:

Jonny – every time the players meet, Anderson gets one over on Fabregas, and wins the midfield battle.

And lest we forget this :D

  19. Jonny says:

How exactly does he ‘get one over’ on him?

  20. Stephen says:

Blackburn sold him for £15m yeah well done

  21. Jonny says:

7 million of which went to Arsenal because of a 50% sell on clause in his Blackburn contract…..

  22. Scott the Red says:

Jonny – have you not watched United vs Arsenal games? At Emirates, Anderson bossed the midfield. In the 4-0 in the FA Cup, Anderson bossed the midfield.

Fabregas went AWOL on the three occasions our clubs met last season.

  23. Jonny says:

I’ll give you the FA Cup game, but I don’t agree that Anderson bossed anything in the others.

  24. THIS_IS_MANCHESTER says:

jonny against you lot in the game at OT cesc was having the time of his life then at 70 min anderson came on and cesc hopped on his taxi home! or at least thats what it looked like when i was watching the game. and at the game at the start of the season anderson kept a lid on him, he couldnt pass or do anything because anderson was breathing down his neck!

face it fabregas is good but when he comes up against a player whos stronger, a far better dribbler and faster then he is he shys away. wont lie hes a good player but i think as a neutral (or as neutral as i can get) anderson has had fabregas the last 3 times they met

  25. OTRed says:

@Jonny: i doubt Ronaldo is that stupid and pig- headed to come out with such a daft comment and yes if he did, he’d be s lime ball to me cus it’d be really embarassing, but hey we don’t have a ladies team and when we did, they were kinda pants anyway.
