It looks lovely to see, there is still a long way to go. I would be very happy to retain the EPL and go beyond Inter Milan in UCL. Carling Cup might be a bonus. Next round FA cup is not very difficult, semis might be difficult though if we are still in UCL at that stage, if we are out then a domestic treble might be on the cards.
Even though our last loss in UCL dates back to 2nd May 2007 (not taking the Super Cup into account) which is quite a long way back, I have a feeling this would not be our year in UCL
I’m really annoyed with all this treble, quadraple… talk. I would be more than happy if we retain EPL champions!
Yeah.Our last Ch.League loss was at the same stadium we will visit in 6 days.Without Nemanja in the team and with Adriano-Ibrahimovic on good form,it might be a long night for us before we can get the 20 game unbeaten record.That analysis sounds too good to be true unfortunately.United will have to play 67 games(68 if we draw at Fulham in the cup).Too much football.What buffles me is the Portsmouth game.Why aren’t they putting it after the LIverpool game?Why leave it until May when once again we will have a pile of fixtures?
Of course i want it… we all want it, all 5 would be unbelievable
however, I dont agree with the results he’s predicted for us…. I’m sure we’ll slip up somewhere, draw the odd game as well.. especially in the champions league but I just cant see some of the results he’s predicted coming off? still, you never know… if it all pans out like the prediction then i for one wont be at all dissapointed
)
Guys i just saw that both Neville and Brown will miss the Fulham game.With the Inter game 6 days ago,it is puzzlng who will play at right back.I don’t think Rafael will handle it and i don’t know if John O’Shea will be up for it.With Vida out we will need experience on that right side but at the moment both Brown and Neville are doubts.And even if they get fit one has to question their stamina for such a big game.
Costas: hhmm interesting? While I would say it would have to be Wes or Nev at right back next tue I have to say: Has Wes had enough first team football? No, that is why I thought he may start tonight to get match fitness, he could start against Blackburn though. Is Nev up to the job? Yes he is but again thought he may play tonight.
SAF could well decide to go with Raphael but I would very much doubt it. While he is excellent at going forward and certainly has the confidence his defending at times is shaky.
In an ideal world it would be Wes at right back but we should all know by now that whoever SAF decides to pick they will be more than ready for the job.
