We blew a 2-0 lead against Leverkusen at OT, had we held on there, we would of won the semi over both legs and feel that we would of beaten Real Madrid in the final, as Beckham was in form at that time. Hopefully we will retain it this season. I still feel we need a new striker just to give us back up if anything - although fingers crossed that Rooney and Tevez will stay injury free this season. We are definitely spoilt for choice in midfield, with the addition of Possebon to the ranks. Also, the introduction of the Silva twins gives us something extra in defence, so in that respect, we have definitely padded out our squad this season. 2002 was definitely a great opportunity to win it after 1999.
