I think at the moment a GK and a good midfielder are our priorities rather than a forward. With Wellbeck banging them in and Macheda having his baptism in italy, i think weve got that position sorted.

I’ve heard these reports about Crawley being bailed out by local business people but hey wasn’t it ever thus, we where save from bankruptcy by a Manchester brewer John Henry Davies and formed Manchester United and it was he who ordered we play in red white and black, a plaque of him is in the tunnel at OT. What I remember from the Exeter game was the BBC commentator mentioned the pitch, which to be fair was like a ploughed field obviously trying to make a point that it might affect our passing game in that we where used to playing on a surface more akin to a billiard table and what did Mark Lawrenson say “its the same for both teams” yes well thanks for that you prick.

It is very likely that from the 6th round onwards, it’ll be all Premier League teams. None of the 5th round fixtures appear to have any upsets on the cards.
I think Pogba, Tunnicliffe, Morrison and Keane are still too green to feature in a League Cup match. Perhaps next season.

Saad Think this is too important a game to put in the real juniors. The squad is big enough to put in a team very much like Southhampton. We havn’t won the FA cup in 4 years and it would be unforgivable for the Chavs to have a go at 4 in a row without us defending our position. No slip ups this time.
As pointed out earlier. Crowley will make more money in this game than for the entirety of the last 2 seasons. If they use this money well, they might move up 2 or 3 divisions, which is not unheard off. Need to see if they use it well!

Good draw, should be an easy game, everyone makes money, and the some of the second string get a competitive game. Clear positive to play the match at OT as well. Don’t want any injuries because of the pitch and Crowley will get a memory that they will treasure for the rest of their lives.

FletchTHEMAN. If RedNev is fit he plays. I am confident because surely there will never be a better game for him to cope. If he came through that game ok, we would be able to extend his contract by a year. An example of this is how SAF is praising Scholes performance yesterday. All it needs now is for Paul to be happy with his next game, and he’ll sign another year.

This is an interesting draw for me personally. Crawley’s manager, Steve Evans, used to manage my local side, Boston United. He is one of the biggest crooks in football and how he is still involved in the game is beyond many. He’s a fast talker who will have anyone believe anything.
