Cristiano Ronaldo substituted himself during United’s 1-0 win over Sunderland on Saturday, following a clash in the penalty area. Sir Alex Ferguson, who is currently serving a touchline ban, was frantic on the phone to the bench, communicating which players he wanted to come on, whilst Ronaldo jogged off down the tunnel.
He was today just outside Paris to collect his Ballon d’Or award, which after months of speculation, deems him the best player in Europe. Sir Alex Ferguson and his mother made the journey with him.

It really doesn’t matter whether YOU “like the guy”; we should all be grateful that CR7 plays for our team. He’s a fantastic talent – indeed, such a fantastic player that one just has to accept his personality and his dreams.
He came back fast – and strong – from his ankle surgery although he has stuttered a bit the last few games. Stuff happens; form is temporary but fantastic talent is permanent.
Let’s hope he will be fit against Spurs.
I never said he isnt a good player,he is the best player in the world atm ( i secretly prefer Messi shh) but ‘we should all be gratefull he plays for our team’ NO he should be gratefull he plays for our club! thats the whole fucking problem he and many fans seem to think he is bigger than our club which he definatly isnt Ronaldo is one of the best players we’ve had play at Old Trafford but he will never be a true United legend because his attitude is fucking disgracefull. I like Ronaldo, I think moreso because everyone else hates him, so it makes it feels like he one of ours. His heart will be red once he signs that 40 million pound contract. He ain’t going to nowhere Delores.
