I am feeling worried and are not blaming the club. I am thinking of how we are going to repay all the debt. I hope i can continuing supporting the club in 10 years time and beyond. There is no way am i going to give up on the club and i won’t say sack fergie for playing the wrong tactic.

I could not agree more – the obituaries are always written while the corpse is still breathing.

As mediocre as UTD have been – and who of us would deny that ? – there have been very few matches in which TheLads have not bossed both possession and territory. What’s been lacking ALL season – a few exceptions, of course – has turning the cutting edge to put that possession and territorial dominance into goals. Yesterday was no different – and let’s not forget that the game against Birmingham was played on a frozen pitch.

That said, I was really impressed with the aggression and drive and desire that ChuCho displayed. He played on the two central defenders’ shoulders and created a lot of space for Cameron Jerome. I think he showed us what our team has been lacking – not for a moment would I recommend ChuCho as a solution to our “problems” but he does provide an insight as to how those “problems” might be resolved with a real, proper, old-fashioned center forward who leads the line and continually probes the opposition’s central defence.

have to agree with your optimistic outlook, well as regards on field activities. for the last 2 years we have been the the best team in england and Europe punctuated with 2 euro cup finals. We did it with the same core squad we have now the only difference this season is no Ronaldo which is a loss no doubt.But the core of a world class squad is there, do we need to sign a new star to replace Ronaldo no Rooney has repalced him as the star player, but we do need to add depth to the squad. Valencia WILL turn out to be a super signing for us illustrated by his performance against Wigan. What we do need is a threat on the left wing to balance valencia, a play maker midfielder to compliment flechter or hargreaves in the centre. Berbatov can step into the shoes of rooneys partner but if he doesnt then we need a new signing. 3 astute signings and we can have a truly world class team.

I stopped reading at Big Bad Wesley Brown…

If you don’t read it all and all you have to say is to respond to one sentence there is not room for any discussion. Is our strike force the best? Absolutely not but you also left Berbatov of your list. I do think a in-form Berbatov, Rooney, Owen, Diouf, Macheda, and Wellbeck could prove to a decent strike force and gives us plenty of options. Is it the best in the EPL? Probably not but we can’t have everything and we have enough to see the job done. I also do not correlate our strikers as the reason we are not playing and rather feel it starts in the defense. It isn’t our defenders are not playing great (face it all our team isn’t in top form) but rather a lack of a strong center backing that gives us confidence that we can go forward.

I also think Diouf could prove to be something special is we can feed good balls into the box. We didn’t get to see much of him and he had to cope with playing on his own up top. We created chances we just did not take them. They also did not fall at the feet of our strikers but rather our midfield. I would rather give our youth a try, struggle to succeed, then buy an over rated player like the Valencia duo which I do not rate as highly as some of you obviously do. The game is not played on paper but rather the pitch.

we are going through a period of trial and error.

as for buying players its not the solution.

the right thing is being done. bringing through young players is the way.

as for diouf i hope people dont judge him if he has a few bad games.

drogba did not turn into this beast overnight. give time take time.

Big Bad Wesley Brown – united need a striker badly this jan, if the unthinkable happens and rooney is sold every united fan should stop going to games, stop subscribing to MUTV and never buy any shirt what so ever because we will know the glazers are running the club into the ground.
