As we are on the subject of great brave defenders good to see the fucking pussy Terry is out for England and is unlikely to play on Wednesday. He played 90 mins against Citeh, and what are the odds he will play a week on Saturday versus Borough. He missed the Croatia game and played that following Sa, the guy is a cry baby coward, but a least the real captain will get a chance.

i always felt we sold him because he was taking that nandorine or whatever it was called. He got busted and banned within his first 6 weeks at lazio along with several other dutch players Davids been one of them.

I agree he was a top player for us and we sold him far too early, I remember him going face to face with Veira, and Veira absolutlely shat himself!!!

SAF does indeed regret selling jip jaap stam…and has stated so publicly. Personally i was as dumbfounded as the next utd fan when he was sold. As in my opinion he was the best.

IF true….we should employ him as a defensive coach. Would be a Valuable addition to the backroom team.

He wasn’t sold because of his autobiography. Fergie confirmed that on the invterview with Frost. And he wasn’t just covering either because he admits that he made a mistake selling him after seeing him play a game for Lazio. He sold him because he’d discussed it with coaching staff who said he’d lost a yard of pace.

A few months later he went to see him play and said: “he’s bloody fabulous”. And admits that that’s the one regret with regards to players sold.

Jaap Stam was my hero in our defence, he was fuckin’ awesome, simply sublime. Never gave a sniff to the strikers. But i too wont believe this until a confirmation from Manchester United’s official website.
