January 2nd… Our Transfer Window Is Shut

After the agreed terms and transfers fees for Serbian duo Tosic and Ljajic had been announced, Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed we will not be bringing in any new targets during the January transfer window.

“Tosic joins us immediately, his work permit is through; Ljajic will join us next year,” said Ferguson. “Tosic is a young wide left player. We like wide players at this club. We’ve been watching him for over a year. Our scout in that area has been telling us about him for quite a while. He’s now a regular in the Serbian national team. Hopefully he does well. We’ll give him time. He’s not played since December 10 so he’ll need time to adjust and get used to the tempo of our game and also the training. That’s the end of the transfer business for Manchester United this season. There definitely won’t be anything else in January.”

Not a major concern is it??

I am glad that we have done our business… can concentrate on the footie now… and we have got 2 promising aquisitions.

    Testament to Gill’s competence

I do believe that will be the end of our transfers but you never know with Fergie he can be a right WUM at times he’s probably trying to sign Messi as we speak ;) Nah being serious now i doubt we’ll have anymore players in but a very UNreliable source says Scott Parker might be coming if the price is right, very much doubt it though.

Gill or Peter “Oooh I fucked up again bigtime” Kenyon?

  5. luke says:

errr what bout a certain fella called Carlos Tevez?

  6. King Eric says:

luke: that will all be sorted in due course. like Denton said to me on earlier post the money men at United are not gonna pay before due date.

Scott Parker? interesting. good midfielder but United player?

If we’re to officially sign Tevez (I’m getting ever more pessimistic), I think it’ll be at the end of his 2 year loan deal, as initially expected. The provisional contract has, by all accounts, yet to be written up (let alone finer details discussed), which is my main concern.

Gill is doing a fine job, no doubt, but I always have my doubts about top-level businessmen. Infinitely better than that slithery turncoat Kenyon, though.

King Eric, that was my thought on it all aswell the only reason im even thinking of believing it is the fact Hargreaves is out all season, i wouldn’t put to much thought into it as like i said its a unreliable source but never say never and all that. If we could get him for cheap id say it would be a good deal

Nice to get the business done early doors, so we can concentrate on winning football matches. See cunt Mourihno’s suggesting that Vida gets a two game ban in Europe.

Now that UTD are completely owned as a private company, there is no need for the media (or us !) to know what’s happening; we learn about these things when they’re done-and-dusted. And that’s how it works best.

    HOW FUCKING GOOD IS GILL

YOU’D TRUST HIM WITH YOUR LIFE EVERYTHING IS ALL WAYS DONE

    NO BULLSHIT

NO POXY PETER”I JUST DONT LIKE BRAZILIANS” KENYON

UNITED HAVE COVER NOW FOR THERE COVER

  12. Red-Manc says:

I’ll admit at first i jumped on the Judas Gill bandwagon and i dont really like him but to be fair he is very good at his job so well done to him.

  13. Saad says:

I guess a loan deal for a holding midfielder won’t be a bad idea at this time since we have Hargreaves out and I think we need depth in that area to defend our titles

I believe SAF when he says thats it for business… i just wish we got some more money out of the safe for Defoe… that would be an awesome bit of business…

  15. King Eric says:

Good point Failsworth but Defoe is the sort of player who only wants to play every game and is not content with just a place on the bench. (fair play to him). Therefore do you reckon he would come to United as we can’t obviously guarantee him a game every week and do we really need another forward?

    posted it twice. idiot
