Adnan Januzaj hasn’t had much playing time this season and was used in the centre of midfield against MK Dons. When asked what his favourite position is, he was very clear with his answer, but insists he is happy to play anywhere for Manchester United.
“No.10 of course,” he told Squawka. “That’s my preferred position but I’m happy to play anywhere for the manager. I saw some reports saying I was unhappy, that couldn’t be further from the truth. I love this club and I’m excited to play for this manager. The fans have been so good to me and I want to repay them.”
Januzaj fancies United’s chances of finishing in the top four again this season after finishing 7th under David Moyes.
“Man United is obviously a big club so, yes,” he said. “Obviously, I want to do as well as I can and gain lots of experience and win trophies too. Everything changes and can change very quickly. We need more time for the new manager. It’s very hard for managers to come into Man United. Just be patient.”
