Sky Sports News is tonight reporting that Adnan Januzaj wants to stay at Manchester United and will sign a new contract.

His current deal is set to expire at the end of this season and there had been concerns amongst the fans that we would see history repeat itself and he would follow Paul Pogba out of the Old Trafford door.

However, Belgium manager Marc Wilmots has confirmed that the player has told him he is keen to stay in Manchester, after rejecting a call up to the Belgian international team. His father claims that he is keen to play for Albania, the country his parents originate from.

Januzaj scored two goals on his full debut at the weekend, the first United player to manage such a feat since Ruud van Nistelrooy. He also completed five take-ons in the first half against Sunderland, beating the three Ashley Young has managed in total during his four league appearances this season.
