Kagawa: I Love Playing At Old Trafford

After a slow start to his Manchester United career because of injury, Shinji Kagawa is playing more regularly and starting to settle at the club.

“I’m in a fantastic environment, training every day with top players,” he told United Review. “At the same time, being with a big club like Manchester United, I know we are always expected to win trophies, which I haven’t accomplished yet. I love playing at Old Trafford, though, and I’m always amazed by the atmosphere of the stadium. We’ve managed many come-from-behind wins this season, which is very difficult. But if we go 1-0 down and then equalise, the feeling of unity between the supporters and players is incredible. Those moments encourage the players and make us feel like we can score another goal at any time.”

Great team spirit moreso than ever this season. The fire is back in Fergie’s belly and it’s moved down to the players. They have great belief and confidence is building with each game. We have been on a superb run of results, let’s keep it up. City fucked up last night as I thought they would. Takes off Tevez for that shit cunt Rodwell and put that joker Sinclair on. Fergie realised we lacked summat last season hence the signings of this bloke and RVP. Mancini the snide greasy cunt rested on his laurels and their squad is weaker. I love how the media keep saying “well United threw an 8 point lead away last season”. Yeah won’t fucking happen again.

    Footballers involved in Doping apparently.
Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes the accused said and i quote ” “If I would talk, the Spanish football team would be stripped of the 2010 World Cup””
This means Barca and Messi losing their titles/Ballon D’ Ors etc..
Spain losing their last 3 titles too

  14. mara says:

King Eric…about coment that we lost 8 points lead last season….in Croatia is one joke that even blind chicken sometimes find a food…so Citeh…sometimes, maybe, one in a million they win championship…
Sometimes i ask myself where we would be if we could invest same money Citeh did…
With SAF you see that he knows what kind of player he want, like puzzle szone by stone…he is building, knows what he wants and where he goes….

  15. BarraView says:

Kagawa just needs some luck to score some more goals himself and the confidence will come. Needs to have a go at shooting for goal more! Wish SAF doesn’t always sub him off near the end. Is it fitness or tactics?

  16. Toms says:

Kagawa is a fantastic successor to Scholes. He looked fucking amazing in the few games he played before his injury. He is the missing link from last season. I think he’s an absolutely amazing buy and that people a little too goal obsessed to recognize that Kagawa will turn out to be the biggest signing of this year in reflection (looking back from 2-3 years in the future; I have to admit Van Persie is being a bit of a beast).

  17. NBI Red Onion says:

He will be an Old Trafford favourite. You can see the signs. Some players the crowd just takes to.

  18. NBI Red Onion says:

@ leaxan – interesting article! After Armstrong debacle, hopefully this soccer angle will get looked at.

  19. Quiza says:

In my Utopia, Barca is implicated by the dope doctor Fuentes, and stripped of the 2 Champs’ League titles of ’09 and ’11, making us 5-time champs. Lovely!!!
