Keane: Fans Can Help United Beat Barca

Roy Keane reckons that our fans will be able to make the difference between Manchester United and Barcelona in the European Cup final at Wembley.

Keano also reckons that whilst Barca’s starting team is brilliant, their squad isn’t as strong as United’s, so injuries could be key to who wins.

“At Wembley, the United fans will take over the stadium. In a one-off game, with fans behind them, of course they can do it,” he said. “They will have to do really well to beat this Barcelona team and my concern would be not picking up injuries. The Barcelona starting XI is brilliant, outstanding, but their squad is probably not as strong as United’s.”

Hope’s right about the 12th man. Would certainly help.

A couple of short term injuries wouldn’t go a miss either!

  2. Kings says:

Get him out of retirement just for this game, so he can smash that cunt Busquets, the cheating bastard.

  3. shubhangmanred says:

Oh keano! Won’t we love a performance like your against Juventus, this time!
    C’mon You Devils!

  4. sachu says:

    @shubhangmanred
that perfomance will come from ji sung park

  5. Robbinhood Savage says:

Keane’s right. Barca doesnt have the squad depth of man utd. The players on their bench is nothing compared to ours. But the most important thing is keeping our main players fit for the tie…

  6. manc_sam says:

UNITED are taking over FACT. And watch how many we take to Blackburn, sitting in the blackburn end haha

  7. Costas says:

I hope he is right and we get the majority of the tickets. But the English neutrals will be behind Barcelona. No doubt about it.

  8. mattbw7 says:

wouldnt be surprised if we dont have half the stadium.

  9. I think I've found you a Genius says:

Reds are here, Reds are there, Reds are everyfuckinwhere, na na na na…..

  10. mattbw7 says:

    At Ewood I mean!

  11. T4M says:

Nicely said Keano.Honest as ever and not saying what the media want to hear like meltface

  12. mattbw7 says:

    Meltface?

  13. Hargo's Curly Hair says:

Hope we smash the diving squad, their cheating has to come to an end,not to mention all this wanking over them,we’ll show the world that you should never write United off!!!

    Come on United! :D

  14. redrider says:

one look from him and those pussies would go running to their mommies.

  15. mattbw7 says:

Don’t be daft Hargo, we won’t get any credit if we do beat them, it’ll be Barca had a poor game or we kicked off the park or we where anti football, fuck em all as long as we win.

  16. willierednut says:

Kings – Was thinking that the other day. One game, we’d love to have a Keane, or Robbo. Keano is spot on, the United fans are the 12th man. I think we’ll take over that area of London. I heard there will be up to 35 thousand going to Ewood? We win the league and Stoke beat the bitters at Wembley, good day all round.

  17. King Eric says:

Costas – Hello mate. The official line is 25, 000 seats apiece. With FORTY thousand going to UEFA delegates and corporates etc. I bet there are nearly 50 , 000 United fans there that night. Cannot wait.

  18. King Eric says:

Ha. Ewood will be crawling with Reds. Just surprised that Blackburn fans are flogging their tickets considering it s a big game for them being in the relegation dogfight. There were about 17,000 at Wigan I believe the other year.

  19. Kevin says:

@King Eric, 40000 going to UEFA, there is where the atmosphere is spoilt, how can those guys allocate so much for people who wont scream or shout or show passion? May be they know better.

  20. willierednut says:

Touts paradise. Tickets will be going for big dough.

  21. wayne says:

yeah online tickets are starting at 1,250 pounds cheapest seats.on stub hub cheapest are $3,100 u.s.thats the problem with allowing 40,000 tickets not going to fans.considering utd ave more season ticket holders than tickets available its fucking bullshit.

  22. wayne says:

vip gold seats selling for 3,300 pounds

  23. MG says:

Roy Keane back – that’s the captain that I knew!!!

    Come on United.

  24. Costas says:

    @KIng Eric

Thanks for letting me know. Hopefully the spare tickets will end up in United fans’ hands. 40000 just for Uefa is ludicrous.

  25. Kings says:

willierednut – I would love to have both Robbo and Keano in the middle of the park for that game mate. Yeah wouldn’t it be great to seal the title on Saturday, which in turn will deflate the bitters and see them lose the Cup final on the same day.

  26. bobkoh says:

The only worry I have is the play-acting by the Barca players. They’re have perfected it to an art & if the referee so much as miss a beat, decisions will go against ManUtd who needs all 11players to be at their very best.

  27. CedarsDevil says:

    Kings

Robbo and Keano together? How fucking mouth watering is that. That cunt biscuit would not last 5 minutes on the pitch! Haha

  28. Kings says:

CedarsDevil – Mate, that would be fantastic. Even launch that pubehead cunt Mascherano into row Z!

  29. redijat says:

@wildie @kings @costas @anybody would any of you guys pay for my trip to wembley??? im from malaysia and would do anything to be there for the final! =)

  30. Kings says:

redijat – Hello mate. I’m struggling to get the funds for a ticket myself, so I am trying to obtain them through illegal means!!!!

  31. willierednut says:

Wildie? lol. We’d all love to get there. Scramble for tickets will be fucking crazy.

  32. CedarsDevil says:

    Wildie?

Hahahaha…. Thats your new name as far as I am concerned

  33. Costas says:

    wildie, lol.

I am trying to score some tickets myself. Not that I have any chance. But you never know…

  34. NBI Red Onion says:

Don’t worry, there is a trick way in

  35. redijat says:

hahahaha guys i’ve been reading willierednut’s name as wildernut for the past 6 months! nvr really watch the name closely to get it right :)

anyway the atmosphere over here would be awesome too with restaurants having these big screen tvs

  36. willierednut says:

redijat – Don’t worry about mate, you were close lol.

  37. King Eric says:

redijat – Yes of course I will. Send me you address and I will send you a cheque. Not!

Kings – Hello mate . “pubehead cunt” . Quality.

  38. Kings says:

King Eric – Hello mate. Just listening to that cocksucker Gerry Armstrong co-commentating on the Levante/Barcelona game, he keeps referring to them as ‘we’ in respect of his mention of the European Cup Final. Oh do fuck off you arselicker. He loves to jump on the bandwagon, following anyone who’s the dominant force in the Spanish League. Up until 2009, he was licking the arseholes of Real Madrid. Him, Mark Bolton and Graham Hunter are a bunch of pricks.

  39. parryheid says:

prior to the Final I confidently predict a massive swing of support for United from neutrals across all sections of the media. They recognize that United represent English football and will be right behind us no question,we may not be their favourite team but were all they’ve got and they will be right on board.

  40. Sir Ryan Giggs says:

It will be a case of United vs Rest in the stadium cos everyone else over there will be supporting Barca.

But that is how we like it.

United>Barca> Rest of the world> England.

    Come on you REDS!
