Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has sung the praises of Ryan Giggs.
“Ryan is streetwise and very clever. It’s a credit that he’s pulling the strings at United at the age of 36,” said Keane. “Ryan is so professional. He’s always on time for training and has a terrific attitude. I look back on my playing career and the pluses are not necessarily the medals, but the people you meet. I was privileged to be involved for so long with someone like Giggsy.”

OMG. did keane really say that? i loved keane as a player. he was a fighter. but as aperson i dont respect him anywhere as much as i respect scholes or giggs.

Very true. The wording of that paragraph makes it strange that Keane actually said it. I guess in the end he’s just a little sweetheart.

hopefully we’ll see sir ryan giggs of utd for a while yet, altho i have a sneaky suspicion that he’ll quit when fergie does despite what he said today

There is no one who was or is a utd player who weren’t privileged to play alongside Giggs. Although Keano saying this is not typical of him.
