Sadly, all you Anti-United lot remember are the decisions that have gone ‘for’ us in the past. You don’t have the benefit – privilege – of seeing them every week and the blatant decisions that don’t go our way. Premiership refs are a disgrace, I’m sure you other clubs have your fair share of stories of piss-poor refereeing.

Diving is a part of the modern game. Whilst it doesn’t make the game better, I’d be more concerned about the holier than thou hypocrites of the game, namely, St. Steven Gerrard.
I think after the agony the lad has gone through, I can’t begrudge Eduardo this much — even though it doesn’t make things right. I am more concerned about the press bleating about the dive, just because he’s a foreigner. It’s the same thing we faced with Ronaldo all these years.

I have seen almost every united game for the last 6-7 years and to say that Rvn or Rooney dove frequently is just bullshit. Ronaldo did dive a few times in his first few years here but nowhere near the extent that it was played up in the media. Being actually fouled is not diving.

In my opinion, he is a good player, has a good touch and an accomplished finisher. This is the first time I’ve seen him dive. Hopefully Wenger will have a word with him about this incident.
Although it made the game 1-0, I don’t think it would have changed the game much. Celtic didn’t really threaten at all, and Arsenal had Arshavin (I’m sorry to say my favourite non-United player) on the bench ready to quash any Celtic comeback.

Funny, I remember Ronaldo scoring a spot kick at wastelands to all but seal the title a couple of years ago.
As for Eduardo, when he scored against Everton I genuinely felt really pleased to see it, but to see that big smug grin on his face as he strolled towards the camera after scoring that pen made me lose a lot of respect for the guy.

I think you’ll find that ferguson said (while ronaldo (& rooney) was still at the club) that Utd didn’t have a problem with diving.
